β β β β β Beautiful place where you can get a great atmosphere of the way people used to live in the windmills.
Keep in mind that thereβs no place to hide from the sun in the whole park so you have to protect yourself against the weather.
They offer a boat in the ticket but that is not really worth it, it wonβt show you anything special and you could walk that part anyway because is not really long. What I think is completely worth it are the tickets to go inside the windmills.

β β β β β Nice place for a free walk. Recommend getting there by 202 ferry from Rotterdam. Much easier and faster than trying to take the bus.

β β β β β Marvelous location to visit. You can easily spend half a day here to explore the whole park. Better to buy tickets in advance but you can also buy on site. Entrance to the park is free. Only the 3 windmills that are open to visits, the museums and the ferry/cruise require a ticket.
Access: if you come by car it is preferred to leave it in Alblasserdam (and mandatory for people with an online payed ticket, which I found extremely weird). There is a special parking space from where a shuttles departs every 30 minutes (parking at Kinderdijk is reserved for those with mobility problems or those who buy their tickets on site - as I said, weird).
Otherwise you can come by bus from Rotterdam.
I recommend visiting the windmills and taking at least one ferry trip (also one of the windmills is only accesible by ferry).
One of the nicest places to visiy in Zuid-Holland and even the NL.

β β β β β Beautyfull. Ticket expensive but You can move the ship. 3 windmills are open to the public. Lots of beautiful places. If you do not want to enter the windmills and you do not want to go by boat, you can go sightseeing and take photos for free. Ticket price 16 euro and saturday and sunday 18.50. Parking 7.50 all day. The ticket is valid for only 4 hours. You can park the IHC. It's free on weekends. It is close to the entrance.

β β β β β Had a great time. This is one of the most typical Dutch landscapes Holland has to offer. The museum mills are in tiptop condition. Even for us Dutch a site you must visit at least once in your life.

β β β β β Kinderdijk is an absolutely wonderful place. It is everything you imagine when you think of the autochthonous Holland: Windmills, flowers, canals, vegetation... When you arrive at Kinderdijk you find 2 main paths: one for cycling and the other for pedestrians. If you want to tour the entire site in a short time, we recommend cycling and stopping at each of the mills to appreciate their beauty and history. At the beginning of the park there is a small restaurant with a souvenir shop and ticket sales. You can access some windmills for just under 30 euros per person. To get to the site there are 3 ways: if you have your own car you can get there with your vehicle and pay a price of 10 euros per day, you can get there by bus (with bus 489 for example) but I recommend getting there by Waterbus, since that the experience of being in the canals is wonderful and when you go down you find the park. At the entrance you can also find tickets to tour the canals by boat and there are different stations within the park to use the service. Kinderdijk is a UNESCO World Heritage site and its not too crowded. It is a totally wonderful place and very close to Rotterdam. It is a "must" if you are in the area.
