Wat er nieuw is: Met een vloot elektrische eQuad-fietsen die de straat opgaan in Londen, test UPS nieuwe manieren om klanten van dienst te zijn en tegelijkertijd de CO2-voetafdruk en verkeersopstoppingen te verminderen.
Het grote geheel: Met deze elektrische vierwielige fietsen, ontwikkeld door Fernhay, kan de gebruiker fietspaden gebruiken en zich gemakkelijk door smalle straatjes en voetgangerszones met dubbel gebruik bewegen. Ze zijn de laatste sprong voorwaarts in het gebruik van innovatieve oplossingen en geavanceerde technologie door UPS om duurzamer te werken.
Waarom het nodig is: Bezorging op de laatste kilometer via fietsen ondersteunen een duurzamere manier om te bezorgen in dichtbevolkte stedelijke omgevingen en door nul emissie-zones te navigeren.
“De fietsen zijn een geweldige manier om het verkeer in stedelijke gebieden te verslaan en om te bezorgen op adressen die moeilijker te bereiken zijn met een traditionele package car”, zei George Dann, een UPS e-cycle-gebruiker in Londen. “Mensen stoppen me op straat om vragen te stellen. Ze zijn een echte hit als ik onderweg ben.”
De eQuad in een oogopslag:
- 84 centimeter (33 inch) breed, 3 meter (9,8 voet) lang
- Capaciteit van 210 kg (462 pond) in een afgesloten container
- Kan 60 kilometer (37 mijl) afleggen met een enkele lading via een standaardstekker
Wereldwijd gaan: Bekijk de eQuads en andere duurzame oplossingen in actie op de wereldtentoonstellingin Dubai. Er zijn nu meer dan 30 e-cycle-projecten van verschillende groottes in heel Europa geïmplementeerd, waaronder locaties in Dublin, Parijs, Kopenhagen, Stockholm, Amsterdam en Rotterdam, evenals in steden in Duitsland zoals Heidelberg, Mannheim en Hamburg.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my first time ever writing a review. UPS has given me so unbelievably much headaches last couple of days, it is simply unbelievable. This is abslotuley the worst company I have ever had to pay for their services. Never ever again UPS in my life. People, really go to Post.nl for some customer service, UPS does not deserve a cent from anybody. Utter garbage level of service!

You can see in the photo how insightful and informative their are with their customers about the delivery time. You expect your customers to be waiting the whole day for you to arrive, great job!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These people are scammers! They think they can cheat on foreign clients. They issue incorrect invoices, on which they enter the false weight of the packages and the inflated price. They take additional money from cusomers' cards without permission and without informing the customer. They do not respond to e-mails with complaints at all. I've been waiting for a second month for an answer. At that time, not only did they take funds that I did not authorize from my card, but also sent a request for payment of this amount as an alleged underpayment. This is a scandal!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One star is too much for this bunch of scammers. I sent an envelope (insured) with very important documents, it never arrived or even found. Customer service makes fun of you; I called at least 50 times over the 6 months and they wasted my time.
UPS has cost me 6000 euros so far !!!
The government should intervene and put an end to this far west of freight forwarders.

Spoke to a manager named David who had the audacity to raise his voice at me when I've called more than 5 times and I've not raised my voice to any agent! Despicable!!! I'm supposed to receive a package in November 3rd but up until now all I get is different version and I end up speaking to a rude, unprofessional manager!!!!! ?????

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't deliver, don't apologize just put a new date in for you to hang around. If you are out they don't put it through your letterbox or leave it with a neighbor. They take it to some random House across town without so much as a calling card.
