★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leuk voormalig eiland met schattige straatjes en woningen, prachtig uitzicht over de voormalige Zuiderzee, leuke horeca en winkels. De haven is altijd vol bedrijvigheid. Gratis parkeren bij de Haven. Centrum is met blauwe zone.
Er zijn diverse stranden waar het ongetwijfeld in de zomer goed vertoeven is. Leuk voor een dagje uit.
Nice former island with cute streets and houses, beautiful view over the former Zuiderzee, nice restaurants and shops. The port is always full of activity. Free parking at the harbor. Center is with blue zone.
There are several beaches where it is undoubtedly good to stay in the summer. Nice for a day out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Urk in den Niederlanden war mal eine Insel. Darum sagen die Niederlander immer auf auf Urk. Urk ist klein aber fein und liegt am IJsselmeer. Urk muss man besucht haben.???
Urk in the Netherlands was once an island. That is why the Dutch always say goodbye to Urk. Urk is small but nice and is located on the IJsselmeer. Urk has to be visited

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mit unserem Wohnmobil haben wir von Sonntag auf Montag einen Zwischenstopp in Urk auf den wirklich tollen Parkplatz am Hafen verbracht.
Dafür 5 Sterne.
Jedoch 3 Sterne Abzug, da gefühlt tausende Autos und Motorräder in den Abend-Nachtstunden ihre Runden um den Parkplatz drehen. Was das für einen Sinn macht soll, erschließt sich uns leider nicht.
Ein Besuch der Hafenstadt lohnt auf alle Fälle, jedoch eine Nacht auf diesem Parkplatz, nie wieder.
With our motorhome we made a stopover in Urk from Sunday to Monday in the really great parking lot at the port.
Therefor 5 stars.
However, a 3 star deduction, as it felt like thousands of cars and motorcycles were doing their laps around the parking lot in the evening and night hours. Unfortunately, it is not clear to us what kind of sense this is supposed to make.
A visit to the port city is definitely worth it, but never again for a night in this parking lot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cool little town to visit. I loved their perspective street art! Make sure you stand in the right place to get the full effect. The drawings are located at the entrance to the marina parking area.
