β β β β β Uighur food should not be missed! These dishes are a delight. Combining central Asian and Chinese flavors. With think noodles and perfectly cooked chicken, potatoes, and peppers. The dish was rich and filling. The tea was excellent and the place itself was very clean.

β β β β β My first experience with a Uyghur restaurant and I like it a lot!
Unfortunately, this restaurant has two small mistakes.
If you do not want to leave the restaurant hungry, you have to put some more money on the table.
Second, the service is pretty bad.
For example, when we were leaving the restaurant, we were asked if we wanted any fruit for dessert, that's a bit too late ...

β β β β β Very authentic (according to my Chinese friend) and most dishes were tasty. They can make it as spicy as you like. Lady was friendly, after we finished the main course she didn't come to ask if we wanted a dessert or coffee. She could've made more money out of us. Very empty restaurant though, especially for a Saturday night. The interior is a bit middle Eastern with a lot of flowers, but also plastic covers on the tables with a life size menu underneath it.
Not very good place for vegetarians. I think 95% of the dishes contains meat.
A good place for traditional Uyghur food. Price quality ratio is good.

β β β β β To my knowledge this is the only Uyghur restaurant in Rotterdam. The food is extraordinary: the lamb/mutton were seasoned with heaps of cumin and coriander, the bean sprout salad was fresh and refreshing. Admittedly my very first Uyghur meal but certainly won't be the last. Highly recommended when you are in Rotterdam

β β β β β Urumqi, one of the few other restaurants serving Halal authentic Uyhgur dishes, located in centre of Rotterdam. Delicious kabab, Polo (rice with lambmeat and carrot), dumplings, Lagmen (hand pulled noodle with meat and vegs). Place is colorfull, not too busy, but undervalued. Highly recommended.

β β β β β The dishes taste good, as they offer mainly noodles. Suggest to take the big dishes as they taste nice. The noodles start at 12e for the small ones. The teapot is big for 4e. However, the interior is ok and can be quite cold during winter. Service is minimum and it is difficult to find the servers during dining.
