J	Joep Schets on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We hebben een leuke vakantie gehad in het prachtige Drenthe. De zo goed als nieuwe stacaravan was netjes en ruim. Op de camping staan oude stacaravans en nieuwe ook wel door elkaar. Mooi zwembad. Mooie voetbalkooi. Het Valtherbos achter de camping is leuk om te wandelen. Drenthe bied veel. We had a nice holiday in beautiful Drenthe. The as good as new mobile home was neat and spacious. Old mobile homes and new ones are also mixed on the campsite. Beautiful swimming pool. Nice football cage. The Valtherbos behind the campsite is nice for a walk. Drenthe offers a lot.
P	Patrick De Neef on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Combinatie van oude sta caravans, nieuwe capfun caravans en campeervelden. Het is op zich een gezellige camping, maar wel heel dicht op elkaar. Ook is het entertainment veel en veel minder dan we verwacht hadden obv eerdere ervaringen met Capfun en de beschrijving op de website. Afwatering was een drama. Zwemmen naar je huisje met koffer op je rug was t bijna :-s. Goed: - aardig zwembad met kap die open / dicht kan (handig met NL weer!) - nieuw en schoon huisje (recent gebouwd, 10 persoons) - rustig qua geluid ondanks drukte (geen muziek, schreeuwen, bbq overlast etc) - strandje aan t meertje - verande met overkapping en bbq Niet goed: - weinig entertainment tov aantal gasten - 10u00 uitchecken (niet te doen icm schoonmaak, dat is geen vakantie toch, dus dag eerder vertrokken) - erg dicht op elkaar - heel heel heel erg veel muggen (en geen horren, zelfs met plakhorren die we zelf mee hadden, hebben we er in een week 60 platgeslagen) - geen afwatering, hele veld stond onder water toen we aankwamen (en toen we na een droge week weg gingen was nog niet alles weg), geen droge route naar huisje - veel verkeer, waardoor niet veilig voor kleine kinderen Combination of old mobile homes, new capfun caravans and camping fields. It is a pleasant campsite in itself, but very close together. Also, the entertainment is much, much less than we expected based on previous experiences with Capfun and the description on the website. Drainage was a drama. Swimming to your house with a suitcase on your back was almost :-s. Good: - nice swimming pool with hood that can be opened / closed (handy with NL weather!) - new and clean house (recently built, 10 persons) - quiet in terms of sound despite crowds (no music, screaming, bbq nuisance etc) - beach on the lake - porch with roof and bbq Not good: - little entertainment compared to number of guests - Check-out at 10 am (cannot be done in combination with cleaning, that's not a holiday, so left the day before) - very close together - very very very very many mosquitoes (and no screens, even with fly screens that we had brought with us, we knocked down 60 in a week) - no drainage, the whole field was under water when we arrived (and when we left after a dry week not everything was gone), no dry route to the house - a lot of traffic, which makes it not safe for small children
V	Vincent van de Hoef on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Een leuke camping om te camperen met onze tent. Animatie voor 6 en 8 jaar is goed op orde. Leuk zwembad met wel 4 glijbanen. Het meer is ook erg leuk met voldoende speeltoestellen. Voor verbetering vatbaar is een gezellig terras voor een drankje of wat luxer hapje dan de snackbar. En de snelheid mag bij enkele auto’s mag wel wat naar beneden. Rechtdoor blijft max 10 km/uur. A nice campsite to camp with our tent. Animation for 6 and 8 years is in good order. Nice pool with 4 slides. The lake is also great fun with plenty of play equipment. There is room for improvement on a cozy terrace for a drink or a more luxurious snack than the snack bar. And the speed may be a bit lower with some cars. Continue straight ahead at a maximum of 10 km/h.
C	Cier Jong De on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prima camping als je met kinderen er heen kan gaan van een leeftijd van 0 -12 jaar. Er staat op de site "De Nobodys (13-17 jaar) spreken drie keer per week af" Dit is niet geval, meerdere keren aangegeven bij het animatie team en de camping zelf. Echt een duidelijk antwoord hebben we niet gehad. We hebben zelfs gebeld met Capfun en kregen als antwoord, ja wij reserveren alleen en hebben hier niks mee te maken. Jeugd van 13 jaar en ouder hebben er weinig te zoeken en als ze een keer afspreken worden ze door een chagrijnen security aangesproken dat ze niet zo hard mogen lachen. Erg jammer! Qua uitstraling camping is het ook niet wat je verwacht van Capfun, en gezellig terras is er niet en verlichting op de camping is ver te zoeken. De douche deed t niet, super heet of super koud. Ja de kraan is erg gevoelig kregen we te horen. En neem van thuis een gezellig lampje mee voor in de caravan, lijk wel een voetbalstadion zoveel licht en heel ongezellig. Ook wel handig waren haakjes geweest om een jas op te hangen. En mocht je een patatje nemen met schnitzel, verwacht niet heel veel het stukje vlees. Great campsite if you can go there with children from 0-12 years old. It says on the site "The Nobodys (13-17 years) meet three times a week" This is not the case, indicated several times to the animation team and the campsite itself. We have not really had a clear answer. We even called Capfun and got the answer, yes we only reserve and have nothing to do with this. Youth of 13 years and older have little to do and when they meet once they are addressed by a grumpy security that they should not laugh so hard. Pity! In terms of appearance of the campsite, it is also not what you expect from Capfun, and there is no cozy terrace and lighting on the campsite is hard to find. The shower didn't work, super hot or super cold. Yes the tap is very sensitive we were told. And bring a cozy light from home for the caravan, it looks like a football stadium, so much light and very uninviting. Also handy would have been hooks to hang a coat. And if you have fries with schnitzel, don't expect much for the piece of meat.

It's a big camping, the space for the caravan its really big ( we had comfort space at klokhuis and you can park the car beside and you have privacy because its divided with ? fence. At the end of the staatcaravan area you can walk in a nice forest. Good football , volleyball place for kids The bad things? , I had a big expectation because I visited another capfun in NL better than this one. The park only have one pool, you have "to book " writing ✍ your name on a list, the first 3 days we couldn't get a chance. I know thi is a measure for COVID OR you can send your kids alone to the pool ? If the weather its cold less than 21 degrees the slices are closed ? and even with warm wearher the water on the slices its very cold They should have a water playing area or another pool! ✍ ( there is another capfun with internet booking system) . I don't see many attractions for kids between 9 + just a lake and its cold. The main road for the cars, its shared with people walking, kids, etc very frustrating because it's the only way to get in.
