About Vakantiepark Het Timmerholt

We zijn hier al vaker geweest en ook in hetzelfde huis. Weliswaar met zijn tweeën in een 8-persoons huis, maar daar kiezen we bewust voor vanwege de prachtige ligging aan het water in een rustig hoekje op het park. Het park straalt rust en kwaliteit uit met zijn mooie ligging in een prachtig stukje Drenthe en is zeer ruim van opzet, de huizen staan lekker ruim uit elkaar. Ook al zijn er op dit moment bouwactiviteiten bij de buren, het blijft een zalige plek. De inrichting is zeer compleet en buiten staat een zalige en ruime jacuzzi. Juist heel lekker en ontspannend als de buitentemperatuur eigenlijk niet zo aangenaam is. Zeer snel internet en een uitgebreid zenderpakket op de Smart TV. De horeca is thans gesloten, maar dat is geen probleem, je bent zo in Westerbork met een uitgebreide keuze in de horeca. Kortom: we hebben weer volop genoten en komen zeker weer terug. Wellicht dan met kinderen en/of kleinkinderen!

D	Daniel Popov on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This vacation park is a quiet place with some nice villas around the beautiful lake. There also bungalows and camping places. You can hire a boat or rent a bike . At the restaurant by the reception they make the most amazing icecream ever. Nearby the complex (3 km) lies the historical villlage Orvelte, which is a town-museum ( you can see how they make cheese , clogs etc ). It's a nice , paceful place . If you like the Dutch countryside you're gonna love it.

Restaurant available though. Free WiFi for campsite but of low quality. Signal not reliable. All in all good site with roomy spaces.

Couple of Cons : 1- the house seemed very outdated and the kitchen items could be improved ( for couple of days I didn’t mind) 2- there are construction work close by, so you should be careful that your bungalow is not close to construction work.
