Valentino - Hill Gallery 104
Darius en Suri zijn ontworpen door de Belgische kunstenares Sofia Speybrouck. Sofia’s inspiratie voor het maken van deze sculpturen ligt in haar liefde voor katten. Het is moeilijk om de individualiteit van beide katten te missen: Darius is sereen en kalm, wat contrasteert met het onstuimige karakter van zijn zus Suri. Ondanks deze verschillen in karakter, stralen beide katten een typische elegantie uit waar katten bekend om staan dankzij de samenstelling van lijnen, oppervlakken en perspectieven – alles in één enkele kleiplaat.
