If you can, I advice to make an appointment and drive down to the wonderful IJsselstein in the Utrecht suburbs. Erik and his team are just the most passionate guitar experts I have met in my 35+ years of visiting Guitar Temples around the globe. You need to get through the Dutch Prejudice, but once you take a guitar on your lap and sit down and jam ... that all disappears in a minute Erik builds the most amazing instruments 100% to your specs. This week he installed super 50s #Kloppmann pickups on my Fender 52 tele and 'plecked' my CS Strat ... with coffee and chats with the team. So, just check it out and enjoy the amazing Haar Axes!

A real longterm quality investement for the future. The price/quality ratio that haarguitars offers is found nowhere else! My strat sounds, feels and looks amazing. From my experience, I can tell the people at haarguitars really put a lot of effort to deliver the best quality product possible. For every question or small comment I had, the responses to my e-mails where quick, clear and solution-oriented. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They helped me choose the best specifications (wood, color, pickups etc,..) for my playing style and taste. I can only recommend buying an amp, guitar or having one build for yourself here! D	Drew Goldblatt on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In the twenty years I’ve been playing guitar, never have I been met with such disrespectful, unapologetic and rude customer service. If you can purchase what you need somewhere else, do it — especially if you think you may want to return it or perhaps pay with "modern methods" such as credit card or Paypal (especially true for amplifiers). My recommendation is that Erik should give up on internet sales all together and only focus on in-house sales. He doesn’t have the patience or kindness to handle it. Alternatively, he could hire someone who speaks and writes in plain English, which would save us all from his haiku-like, aggressive and often illogical replies. After three months of back and forth, I was able to return the two amplifiers I purchased and finally received a refund. But the journey was absolutely awful and only now can I purchase what I want elsewhere.

s	stephane fd on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst customer experience I have had on the spare parts side of haar's business, illegal practices (refund within 14days is not honored ignoring EU laws) and extremely disrespectful. Haar answers as slow as possible (if he even answers) engaging in nonsense so the clock runs out for the legal delay. This is the kind of person you are dealing with, you have been warned. He couldn't care less about respecting the client and laws that he somehow thinks don't apply to him. I am not surprised to read here and other sites that other clients who had to deal with customer service for a return have had the same experience. You never know if you may end up having to return an item, this is exactly the type of seller you don't want to be confronted in that unfortunate situation. Now that you read this you can just spare yourself some trouble as and buy your gear from a respectable seller, there are plenty.
