L	Lee Gregory on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a lovely looking modern hotel. The restaurant setting is pleasant and the staff are friendly. The food is nice however I would have expected a higher standard for the price and the quality of the surroundings. The restaurant service has been often slow in my experience with a meal for one taking well in excess of an hour for just two courses. The corridors are very dark and on my floor the nice lighting that guides you to your room flickers constantly. The rooms are very nice with a large window and a very spacious bathroom. (No bath). There is air conditioning in the room however I have found this noisy and hard to sleep with it on.
R	Robbert van Tongeren on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice and clean hotel, staff is really friendly and the view is amazing. Breakfast is perfect, everything is fresh. They also have a cigar lounge, open 24/7 which is perfect. You can't buy cigars but you can bring your own.
F	Florian M. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Van der Valk Hotel is located near the A15 motorway and at the northern end of Tiel. Throughout the hotel, the atmosphere is very modern and friendly. The rooms were fairly spacious and clean. Apart from the modern amenities such as a flat-screen TV, air-conditioning and a small refrigerator, the large bathroom and the comfortable bed were great. The dinner and breakfast selection was extensive and included freshly prepared meals. Also, the coffee tasted great! The staff was friendly and attentive. Even though this hotel has a large number of rooms, it only has two elevators. This led to long waiting times when several guests wanted to go to the breakfast room. Nevertheless, I had a pleasant stay at the Van der Valk Hotel and would stay here again.

I walked in second night and could not book through the website and suddenly the 89 euro room was all taken, which I highly doubt as the hotel seemed empty which is not strange in these times. I had to take the superior room which is 139 euros. All this offered more was a useless bath that looked not even cleaned the room was the same size. I asked the receptionist if they could meet me In the middle but he refused. There are no other hotels in the neighbourhood. I feel a bit played and don’t think customer satisfaction is their main objective.
