He wasn't trying to "sell" more products, in-contrary he checked the expansion barrel and advised it is still OK for use. He cleaned up behind and even fixed a small issue with the shower tap in the bathroom. Perfection !!!

My previous plumbers in Amsterdam were people who called themselves 'Calamiteit', and that's exactly what the quality of their service was! Nicolas is super responsive, knows what he's doing, and hates to let go of a problem until he's solved it. In short, I feel really well cared for and fully trust that, with him, the problem will be solved to my satisfaction.

We were already happy with his work. Fast forward to this year, my partner and I moved to Den Helder. One week after our move, our radiators stopped working overnight. We have two small parrots who shouldn't be kept below 18°, and the house was already at 15.5° by morning. I was panicking a bit. I called no less than 15 local plumbers, and not a single one could help me the same day. I finally pulled up Nicolas's number, texted him and explained the situation, said we'd pay whatever emergency/travel fees if he could come up to Den Helder today. He said it wasn't possible today, but that he could call me. He called, and walked us through how to fix the issue ourselves. 10 minutes later, our heating is working again. Literally spent the entire morning getting more and more frustrated at not being able to find a single person to help us. Nicolas saved the day!!! And our birds are nice and warm again ? Thank you so much!! Where I'm from, we call you "a stand-up guy." Reliable, trustworthy, and just a genuinely great person.

And the reviews don’t lie, I was very pleased with the great experience. Nicolas has done several jobs in our apartment like ventilation installation, boiler installation and tap installation and it has always been of good quality. I would highly recommend Nicolas. He is very skilled and professional, works tidy and cleans up during and after the job. Which I personally value a lot. He always gives a fair price and will never try to sell you more than what is needed. Very honest and nice person. He will definitely stay my go to guy for anything related to plumbing and boilers.

He even came the week before the appointment to have a good look to make sure he had everything he needed for the repair appointment. Also, thanks to him we discovered that there was a small GAS LEAKAGE! which was easily fixed by the Verwarming company afterwards. Totally recommend Vantomme (Nicholas) there might be a long waiting time but the service is worth it.
