OUR JOURNEY
Vapiano begon in 2002 in Hamburg, Duitsland. In Nederland opende het eerste restaurant in 2007, in Den Haag, met echt iets anders. Een jaar lang kwamen gasten uit heel Nederland naar Den Haag om kennis te maken met het bijzondere concept. Het eerste restaurant in Nederland waar besteld werd met een pasje, het eten direct voor je klaar gemaakt werd en je achteraf afrekent. Handgemaakte verse pasta wordt voor je neus gekookt, precies zoals jij het lekker vindt. Extra peper? Zeker wel. Geen knoflook? Geen probleem. Hou je niet van champignons? We laten ze weg.
Personalisatie was de sleutel en vandaag de dag is dat relevanter dan ooit.
Inmiddels zijn er 10 restaurants in Nederland. Het laatste restaurant is de zomer van 2021 geopend in Westfield Mall of the Netherlands in Leidschendam. Daarnaast is het pasjes systeem ingewisseld voor bestelling vanaf je tafel waar het eten lekker naar je toe wordt gebracht.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst vapiano i have ever visited. Downsized pizza (25 cm instead of 30) with really bad tomato sauce(old?) and almost no cheese. Pasta was a single block overcooked, also those were not spaghetti but spaghettini .Bruschetta with tomatoes directly from the fridge.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Pizza Bruschetta was very tasty even though they didn’t have the extra Prosciutto. B yt they compensated me with a free beer. The reason this is only 3 Stars was the fact that they didn’t bring me my Bruschetta as a starter, and told me at first I already got it, and then they told me I didn’t even order it. After some negotiating (which is already questionable considering I already payed and the paycheck didn’t add up without the Bruschetta) and the manager almost coming, they realized their mistake and I had a nice desert bruschetta…

The ordering app is not intuitive and is missing to add your preference such as vegan options. The food came at some random time and not in order (the starters came after the main). Otherwise the verdure pizza i had was nice

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vapiano! The best place to share, have a romantic date and eat alone. I have tried Tagliatella pasta with funghi cream and mushrooms with extra chicken.
This restaurant is located in various parts of the world and I have also visited it in Spain Barcelona.
I recommend it.
