About Vattenfall
Ons doel is fossielvrij leven mogelijk maken
Wij zijn Vattenfall. Een energiebedrijf met een duidelijk doel: fossielvrij leven binnen één generatie mogelijk maken. Zo stappen we zelf steeds meer af van fossiele brandstoffen zoals bijvoorbeeld kolen, en gaan over op fossielvrije energie. Maar dat is nog maar het begin. Want om ons doel te bereiken, moeten we verder kijken dan het opwekken van groene energie alleen.
Echt fossielvrij leven vraagt tenslotte om veel meer verandering; in het verkeer, bij het transport, in de fabrieken maar ook thuis, bij het koken, wassen, douchen en het verwarmen van onze huizen. Daarom werken we samen met de industrie, met de overheid, met andere bedrijven én met jou. Want onze ambitie brengt ons verder, maar zonder onze klanten zijn we nergens. Je keuze voor ons belonen we, simpelweg omdat je klant bij ons bent.
Voor alle grote en kleine uitdagingen bedenken en ontwikkelen we doorlopend nieuwe oplossingen. We gaan er alles aan doen ons doel te bereiken. Met 20.000 collega’s en 10 miljoen klanten in 8 landen, hebben wij de technische kennis en de slagkracht om het verschil te maken. Doe je met ons mee?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible company. Setting up contracts was a pain, the first invoice I received is for an incorrect amount, you name it. Sadly they own the city heating Monopoly so you're stuck with them if you have city heating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Impossible to reach customer service. Except via Whatsapp, which takes hours. Then lies are being told. Wrong advice given on monthly payments, Info on work in neighbourhood started unannounced 9 days before the day as posted on their website. etc etc etc

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Impossible to navigate customer support if you don't speak Dutch. The phone line is very busy, takes 30+ mins. Also, I was automatically disconnected. I would not do business with them if I had a choice.
Update: I messaged the Facebook page for assistance, and while it took a couple of days to receive a reply (assuming because of the weekend), they were extremely helpful and efficient. Updating to a 3.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Website is very clear and easy to access but in Dutch only. Customer service by phone is automated but again is only in Dutch. When you contact them by Facebook or twitter you received an answer whit an unjustified delay. Please improve customer service and kindly consider that it would be ideal to provide a solution for English speaker as well!

I paid full and final bill after that they are still sending false outstanding bills (even though I have already paid full & final bill as per agreed by their one of the employee) and they are pressurizing me to pay those false bills as well. So Please keep away from Vattenfall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a review about the service of the company, but about the very aggressive door to door salesmen they employ. It was a young man covered in tattoo's and piercings who kept interrupting me and would not listen to a word I would say. Eventually I just closed the door and I almost expected him to put his foot in front of it.
