★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I liked this place and came several times with family making decent bills and tips. However, I came today with my family as usual, booking 15:30 - 17:00. Staff gave us table, and we ordered. However, they took every opportunity to remind us that booking is until 17:00. Finally, they came at 16:20 to ask us to leave because they need our table. There was lots of empty tables around us. One very unpleasant experience
P.S. There was no offer for another table, just "Please, leave"

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been here a couple of times for businesses launches, the Venneper Lodge always serves great food in a very nice location. Helpful and friendly staff, I certainly recommend this place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place overall. Nice ambiance with the style they got going on. Menu is nothing to special simpel in a good way. With popular items so always something for anyone. Next time might try to food. They offer break fast as well. We were only there for drinks. Have a nice wide range of products. Great place to take the kids after a walk in the park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My word this place is going down hill. It's sad because the location is great and ambience to boot but the food and service has gone from mediocre to pathetic.
They used to have a good breakfast and lunch. Dinner was never fantastic (way too much salt and lack of taste - the saté for example) but other things made up for it. The last straw was the desert platter - it used to comprise some nice cake and pastry but now it is just overly sweet junk that was clearly pre packed. No word of a change in the menu and the staff simply brushed off the comment.
Such a shame! We were a customer from the day they opened but no more...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely ambience and nice outdoor seating venue plenty of place for children to play around quiet surroundings. Visited around 3rd week of April still chilly weather with rains with strong breeze making it uncomfortable with no outdoor heaters. Food quality not that great and the service below par. Suggest to improve their service which can be used to maximize with such a lovely location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mom and eat here quite often since we live close. The quality of the food is usually outstanding. However, the prices are not really compatible with the portion sizes. I got a banana bread with yogurt and granola, for which I paid 10 euros. I got two small pieces of bread and a super thin layer of yogurt with maybe one spoon of granola and 2 cut up strawberries . Even though the taste was great, when you describe something as a breakfast dish it’s not normal if you leave still feeling hungry I guess... My mom got the omelet which was delicious and she doesn’t eat much for breakfast anyways so she had no problems. If the portions would have been bigger or they would have compensated me somehow when I told them I felt it was very little I would definitely have given this restaurant more credits!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superb food, superb service and catered for gluten free. All of the pancakes were gluten free too! Highly recommended. Beautiful venue with a warm, homely and welcoming feel about it. It'll.be beautiful in the summer months.
