Came to receive my package from DHL, the service was nice, a lady at the counter was very friendly and polite.

Super unfriendly employee,who seemed not to want to assist and was in a rush. Mind you when I got into the shop there was only one other lady in front of me and nobody else was in the shop.But somehow he was too busy to assist a client. Just terrible service

This comment is intended to help help everyone who thinks about sending a package here. Dont even think about doing so - for your own sake! This is the worst package store I have ever seen. I tried to send something here and contacted them directly, hoping they could help me with my questions. Unfortunately there was no noticeable good intentions in helping me or actually doing their job over the course of several weeks and many calls. Never have I witnessed such bad and unfriendly customer service. They don’t want to give you any information what so ever, and just refer to the website, which in some cases lacks useful information. As a customer you are being judged for your questions and misunderstandings and there is no intent in helping the customer to understand the mistake, letting them know how to do it better and doing it correctly the next time. One thing I know for sure is that there is not going to be a next time. This accounts to many other peers I have talked to - maybe they don’t like internationals.

Terrible experience with dhl and in particular this service place. I've had far too many packages simply not show up and get no notification or get notifications for and not show up and this is by far the most outrageous offender of losing packages etc I have ever experienced.

In short, AVOID Videoland Land Groningen. I arranged for a package to be delivered here as I am not always home. When I went to collect the package, I didn't have a physical copy of my passport but only a scan of it. The man behind the desk was mildly unfriendly but very firm saying he cannot accept that and that I need to contact DHL customer service. I thought this was fair and maybe just a culture difference as I'm new to the city and I did as he suggested that evening. Customer service were very helpful and said there should be no issue with presenting a scan of my passport. The next day when I went back to Videoland, I tried to inform the same man about this. He refused to look at my messages from customer care or engage with me beyond repeating that I need to contact customer care. He told me he can't change the rules, he's just an employee. (From a quick google, I would later see that Martin is in fact the owner... I really don't understand why he called himself 'just an employee'). As the conversation went on, It was honestly like talking to a wall. When I brought up the fact my passport scan is accepted by DHL and customer care agrees, he started going on about how I couldn't board a plane with my scan so therefore I can't collect my package. It was ridiculous. When I went to leave, he started taunting me with 'but if you leave, I won't be able to help you'. That just felt quite nasty so I told him I was going to make a complaint to DHL and left the store. This obviously really hit a chord with Martin and he followed me out to my bike repeating 'if you leave, I won't be able to help you! Just show me your passport!' and then when I said I am not going to continue this conversation, he banned me from Videoland Groningen. I honestly felt really bad when I went home, I hate the idea of being the rude and demanding customer when someone is just trying to do their job. But then I checked the google reviews and this is not just me! While you are entitled to respond to this Martin, I would suggest you avoid gaslighting me. I understand people have bad days but evidently I'm not the only person with this issue!

Worst store ever. They are rude, violent and don't want to work or help anyone. They blocked my number. How do I know ? When I tried with another number they picked up and as soon as they hear I was calling for the same package they hung up. I don't know why they act like that or why they are that rude but I really really recommend you to never go there.
