★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fijn om les van Mirjam te krijgen. Als het niet gelukt is om te oefenen verzint ze wel iets om dan te gaan doen in de les. Vooral gericht op het plezier in het muziek maken dan komt het resultaat en de vorderingen vanzelf. En die insteek vind ik heel prettig.
 Nice to get lessons from Mirjam. If she has not succeeded in practicing, she will come up with something to do in class. Especially focused on the pleasure of making music then the result and the progress will come naturally. And I really like that approach.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Anna Meijer, moeder van Amber (7 jaar): vioolles bij Mirjam echt een aanrader. Kan goed met kinderen omgaan. Heel begripvol en inlevend. Weet kids op een leuke manier te enthousiasmeren voor de viool en houdt rekening met de gemoedstoestand van het kind wat betreft de lessen. Mijn kind gaat graag naar les omdat ze de juf zo lief vindt.
Anna Meijer, mother of Amber (7 years): violin lessons with Mirjam really recommended. Can handle children well. Very understanding and empathetic. Is able to inspire kids in a fun way for the violin and takes into account the child's state of mind with regard to the lessons. My child likes going to class because she loves the teacher so much.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mirjam is fijne docente, die “ maatwerk” weet te leveren. Ik ben 67 en ben op latere leeftijd aan de viool begonnen naast piano. Mirjam respecteert de “ leer stijl” van de leerling, waardoor er goede focus komt op te verbeteren onderdelen. Alles tegelijk aanpakken kan immers niet. Ook zorgt ze dat er altijd nog “ muziek” gemaakt wordt en de les niet 100 % opgaat aan techniek. Mirjam heeft niet aflatend enthousiasme om leuke activiteiten te doen voor & met haar leerlingen. Corona of niet, Mirjam verzint wel weer wat leuks!!!
Mirjam is a great teacher, who knows how to deliver "custom work". I am 67 years old and started playing the violin next to the piano at a later age. Mirjam respects the "learning style" of the student, so that there is a good focus on parts to be improved. After all, it is not possible to tackle everything at once. She also ensures that “music” is always made and that the lesson is not 100% devoted to technology. Mirjam has unwavering enthusiasm to do fun activities for & with her students. Corona or not, Mirjam will come up with some fun again !!!
