It's the only (real) place in "de Biesbosch" where you can have diner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We rented a canoe. Very friendly man and great environment to explore! Afterwards we went to have dinner at the restaurant. Food was okay, but not amazing. Service was friendly, but not great. Good way to spend the day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very bad customer service at the kayak rental...The personnel was really unfriendly with us because we didn’t speak Dutch. Apparently it was difficult to understand that we reserved kayaks for 2 days but without keeping the kayaks overnight. On the second day of renting, they didn’t want to give us the kayaks as we were not in “The list of the day”. When I told them that I booked the kayaks since the previous day, they thought that I was wrong and it couldn’t be like that. They didn’t want to check in the list of the previous day arguing that if I was not in “The list of the day”, then I couldn’t get the kayaks. Finally, I managed to convinced them to check in their documents, they saw that I was right, and gave me the kayaks. The customer should be listened first, always!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place to watch the setting sun and have a nice beer and food to go with it. Very friendly and helpful staff, tasty food. A little bit out of the way, would need a car or be a very enthusiastic cyclist.

We also took the evening Beaver excursion to National Park Biesbosch which was really nice and informative.
Sufficient parking space.
Very friendly and prompt service.
