Ik vroeg hem bij wat periodiek onderhoud om mijn auto (997 Carerra S uit 2005) eens goed na te lopen. Dat heeft hij gedaan en daarbij enkele veelvoorkomende mankementen geconstateerd. Hierover werd goed gecommuniceerd gedurende het proces en alle uitgaven werden op voorhand aangegeven. Door zijn grondige kennis van de techniek van de auto, ontdekte hij ook een montagefout van een eerder onderhoudsadres, waardoor een langlopende klacht werd opgelost. Al met al een positieve ervaring die wordt gekenmerkt door deskundigheid en heldere communicatie. Klantgericht zonder onnodige blabla. Paul Vlasblom knows the weaknesses of the 996 and 997 like no other. I asked him to do some periodic maintenance to check my car (997 Carerra S from 2005). He did this and found some common defects. This was well communicated during the process and all expenses were declared in advance. Due to his in-depth knowledge of the car's engineering, he also discovered an installation error from a previous service address, resolving a long-standing complaint. Dat heeft me behoed voor een kleine ramp, waarbij mijn amateuristische blik, zwaar beïnvloed door emotie, een harde wake up call heeft gehad. En ik was/ben nog niet eens klant. Update 01-09-2020: Na de "bijna ramp" op een andere Boxster S 987 gestuit die helemaal naar m'n zin is. Hoewel, er waren wat kleine dingetjes te verhelpen. Verkopende partij kreeg een euvel met het rechter raam (raam bewoog niet bij kap open/dicht) niet vlot verholpen. Paul heeft dat op kosten van hen gedaan. Binnen een paar seconden wist Paul eigenlijk al wat het was, de raammotor. Verder een grote beurt, lekkende airco condensor vervangen, aftermarket afbrekende Alibaba knippers vervangen door originele, 1 verkeerde luchtgeleidingskap vervangen door origineel en nog wat van dat soort dingetjes. De Boxster is bijna als nieuw en dat met 130.000 Km op de teller en 14 jaar oud. Super blij met het werk van Paul. De afstand Rotterdam - Uden heb ik daar graag voor over. And I was / am not even a customer yet. Update 01-09-2020: After the "near disaster" I came across another Boxster S 987 that is completely to my liking. However, there were some minor things to fix. The selling party got a problem with the right window (window did not move with hood open / closed) not easily resolved. Paul did that at their expense. Within seconds, Paul knew what it was, the window motor. Furthermore, a major overhaul, replaced leaking air conditioning condenser, aftermarket depleting Alibaba cutters replaced by original ones, 1 wrong air guide cover replaced by original and some other things like that. The Boxster is almost like new, with 130,000 Km on the clock and 14 years old. Super happy with Paul's work. I am happy to cover the distance from Rotterdam to Uden.

P	Peter visser on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Paul placed a single mass flywheel and performance clutch on my BMW E36 328i in July 2018. On bringing my car Paul's reception was pleasant. I was given, FREE OF CHARGE, an E46 328i loaner, to make the round trip of 280 km between his company and my home. Two days later I returned to pick up my car. The old clutch, dual mass flywheel, pressure plate, throw out bearing and worn plastic pivot pin were waiting for my inspection, in the boxes of the newly placed high quality Sachs performance items. We analysed the cause of the slipping: a combination of inferior quality parts during the last clutch swap (only 50.000 km ago) and too much power from my Rotrex supercharger. The new single mass flywheel, performance pressure plate and 6-puck sinter plate took about a week of getting used to / running in. Now I absolutely love it. No more slipping. The clutch feels almost as smooth as the original dual mass, with only a slightly stronger pedal pressure needed. The whole driveline feels completely solid and very direct. I have encountered no gear chatter, a much discussed topic when the subject is single mass flywheels. I highly recommend Paul's company: quality work, great service and Paul knows exactly which performance parts work well together, and gets the combination right the first time. The price for the parts and labour was very competitive. Peter.
