★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zu VOC-Zeiten (16. und 17. Jahrhundert) als Hafen von Den Hoorn genutzt. Handelswaren wurden hier bei Hochwasser ausgeschifft. Heute schöner Zwischenstopp auf der Polderpad-Route, ein Wanderweg, der ab Den Hoorn ca. 5,5 Km rund um den Ort führt.
Used as the port of Den Hoorn in VOC times (16th and 17th centuries). Trade goods were disembarked here during floods. Today a nice stopover on the Polderpad route, a hiking trail that leads around 5.5 km from Den Hoorn around the village.
