Cute place, but could use a deep cleaning, updating and fresh paint on all the walls, doors, trim, etc. We did have an issue upon arrival of some really filthy mattress covers in one of the rooms. We removed them and contacted the owners, who apologized. The biggest issue for me was that the listing said there was a washing machine, so I packed for me and my son with that in mind, but the washing machine was broken and had apparently been so for quite some time. Owner said there was a paid laundry room in the park, but we learned that since it was low season, the laundry room was closed. There were also a lot of additional expenses that need to be factored in when you stay here - $1.50 per day/per person (even my 14-month-old) in park fees, charge for linens, charge for towels and a $50 cleaning fee (this is not added in HomeAway or Airbnb as is customary). We stayed two weeks. This place seems more practical for locals. It irked me that the Scherpenhof park charges for babies and charges the full fee during off season when most amenities are unavailable. The park was also very dated. Lastly, the chalet is not toddler friendly. There were just too many dangers (hot radiators, propane heater, knick knacks, etc.) to be good for very small children. Pantry items were also listed as provided, but that was not the case. With all of that said, it was a relatively pleasant stay, but I would not stay here again.

d	daalferro on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place, charming, peaceful and plenty of good attention from its crew. Personnel polite and respectful. By the way, you've to try the cakes, ALL OF THEM. Spectacular, 100% recommended.
