Muddy paths, crossing parking lot over a busy road, not really walking-friendly, too bad for such a piece of nature in Central-Delfland.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dit bos is ooit geplant door de inwoners van Vlaardingen en Maassluis als protest tegen de aanleg van de Blankenburgtunnel. Het gebied is nu uitgegroeid tot een rustgebied voor veel vogels.
This forest was once planted by the inhabitants of Vlaardingen and Maassluis as a protest against the construction of the Blankenburg tunnel. The area has now become a resting area for many birds.
