★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Station Voorhout is een simpel station in Voorhout en stopt helaas maar 2 keer per uur richting Leiden of richting Haarlem. Ook is het jammer dat alleen maar aan de kant van de trein naar Leiden er een kaartautomaat staat. Je kunt hier wel super gratis parkeren aan de kant van de trein richting Haarlem!
Station Voorhout is a simple station in Voorhout and unfortunately only stops twice an hour to Leiden or Haarlem. It is also a pity that there is only a ticket machine on the side of the train to Leiden. You can park here for free on the side of the train to Haarlem!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Een zgn rolbaan voor rolstoelen of kinderwagens is alleen aan de kant van de overweg van de Heerestraat gemaakt. Voor mensen die niet van die kant komen heel onpraktisch. En dat aantal neemt alleen meer toe door de nieuwbouwwijken die juist aan de andere kant gebouw worden.Bovendien stoppen de treinen behoorlijk ver van de rolbanen.
A so-called roller track for wheelchairs or prams has only been constructed on the side of the Heerestraat level crossing. Very impractical for people who do not come from that side. And that number will only increase because of the new housing estates that are being built on the other side, and the trains stop quite far from the railway tracks.

It is a small unmanned railway station with no toilets, only ordinary cars parked. The famous Keukenhof Garden is about 9 kilometers north of it, and there are many beautiful flower fields along the way. To the south is Leiden Station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small trainstation in need of a revamp. Very low amount of ticket dispensers and ticket scanners. No elevators, the only accessibility ramp is located at the far end of the station. No stores, limited cover from rain in the form of small cubicles. Immediately crosses a road which increases traffic in the area, not to mention multiple accidents. Huge parking lot that only sees its full potential during the funfair.
