★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dit voormalig tolhuisje werd in 1827 gebouwd op de hoek van de Soestdijkseweg en de Groenekanseweg. Het lag toen aan de westkant van de Soestdijkseweg op het terrein dat nu bij serviceflat de Akker behoort.
Het tolhuis moest verplaatst worden in verband met verbreding van de Soestdijkseweg. Bij de afbraak in 1960 en de herbouw is veel oorspronkelijk materiaal verloren gegaan. Het is echter nog het enig overgebleven tolhuis in De Bilt. Het heeft tot 1 januari 1929 als tolhuis dienst gedaan. Toen werd de tol opgeheven. Het tolhuis is tegenwoordig als woning in gebruik.
 This former toll booth was built in 1827 on the corner of the Soestdijkseweg and the Groenekanseweg. It was then on the west side of the Soestdijkseweg on the site that now belongs to service flat the Akker.
The toll house had to be relocated due to the widening of the Soestdijkseweg. Much of the original material was lost during the demolition in 1960 and the rebuilding. However, it is still the only remaining toll house in De Bilt. It served as a toll booth until 1 January 1929. Then the toll was lifted. Nowadays the toll booth is used as a residence.
