★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Aan de Boelekade naast de spoortunnel was de ommuurde Joodse begraafplaats. De toegangspoort hiervan staat nu in het Raoul Wallenbergplantsoen. De bekende Zweed die vele Joodse levens heeft gered. Gelukkig is dit relict dus bewaard gebleven. En heeft dit prachtige plantsoen een dubbele betekenis gekregen. En is er interessante wandelroute ontstaan tussen het Metaheerhuisje op de Oosthaven (Gebouw De Haven) en de voormalige Synagoge langs De Turfmarkt.
The walled Jewish cemetery was located on the Boelekade next to the railway tunnel. Its entrance gate is now in the Raoul Wallenbergplantsoen. The famous Swede who saved many Jewish lives. Fortunately, this relic has been preserved. And this beautiful park has been given a double meaning. And an interesting walking route has been created between the Metaheerhuisje on the Oosthaven (De Haven Building) and the former Synagogue along De Turfmarkt.
