The cinema improved so much since the renovation. Looks better, feels better, more modern, more and better choice of food and beverages.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Understaffed. Noisy customers. Constantly eating and talking. Right at the quiet, talking points. When you really need to listen/read what is said. That's really annoying. Why sell food that makes SO much noise you can hear it all the way in the back?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ New setup in this older cinema building. Its spacey and the old bar area is no more. Its much better now and the theatres ensure a good view to the screen because they took away many front rows, where you can now buy a super luxury seat. good sound and smart popcorn shop. Ofcourse overpriced. But who cares. Film has a intermission which is very nice and gives you the idea of a night out rather than a quick film that gets you in and out fast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spacious, accessible, various locations to purchase hot drinks, friendly. The room opened just 3 minutes before the allotted time the film started so we had to wait in a waiting space with lots of wound up kids?. Not sure why they couldn't have opened it earlier

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great moviegoing experience. Loved the overall ambience, and the VIP seats are extremely comfortable. The staff was friendly and bilingual (Dutch and English), and the food and drinks were not that expensive, and easy enough to reach to buy, both before the movie and during the interval. I was actually quite surprised that they had an interval midway through the movie, as I had grown up thinking that an interval/intermission in between a movie was a very Indian concept, and indeed, reserved for Bollywood movies, but it gave me the chance to visit the washroom, which was surprisingly clean, and grab another drink from the self-service drinks counter. My only complaint is a fairly minor one: the fact that the lights weren't turned off/dimmed during the mid-credits and post-credits scene (I went to watch Spider-Man: No Way Home, a Marvel movie), but it's not a big issue. Overall, I'm glad I made the journey all the way from Amsterdam, and I would do it again for the phenomenal experience, though I wish there were IMAX screens at the theatre. Couldn't take a picture of the great seating or other useful stuff, so here's a picture of a Fanta Frozen, a drink that I can't say I saw at Pathé Arena, the other Dutch cinema I've visited.
