Op de kade zie je veel materialen liggen die te maken hebben met de visserij. Voor kinderen best leerzaam om allerhande vistuig van dichtbij te zien. Daarnaast is er een deel van de haven voor de pleziervaart. Via drijvende steigers loop je naar de vele boten. Op de oevers en wanden zie je enorme hoeveelheden oesters liggen en hangen. Dit is een delicatesse dus ga het eten. Waddenhaven Lauwersoog is a very busy port. There is, for example, a considerable fishing fleet. Wel erg jammer dat je er weer een andere sep-kaart voor nodig hebt en niet gebruik kan maken van de elders veel gebruikte sep-kaarten. Great harbor for a tide-stop or just overnight stay. It is a pity that you need another sep card for it and cannot use the sep cards that are widely used elsewhere.

Poort is defect, havenmeester niet te vinden en veel schepen, niet zijnde jachten, krijgen er meer en meer hun vaste ligplasts Ook armoedige schepen. Ziet er gelijk armoedig en rommelig uit Beautiful harbor. Maintenance is in danger of becoming overdue. Just a harbor with no atmosphere. Good if you are too late for the lock or want to go to the Wadden Sea early in the morning.
