Von hier aus sind die Steinmännchen auch für Rollstuhlfahrer gut zu erreichen Good starting point for a nice walk through the woods, e.g. to the "Kastanienallee" or the "Steinmännchen". From here, the cairns are easily accessible for wheelchair users
B	Bri Phillarro on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ich war als Kind schon immer sehr gerne dort und bin es auch heute mit meinen eigenen Kindern- verzweigte Wege- Mountainbikestrecke- alte Baumbestände- alte Kastanienallee und tief im Wald auch zu finden und natürlich darf man die Steinmännchen nicht vergessen I always loved being there as a child and I still do today with my own children - branched paths, mountain bike trails - old trees - old chestnut avenues and deep in the forest and of course you mustn't forget the cairns
T	Terry Wigerink (Indy Toma) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ De parkeerplaatsen die zo grofweg tussen Kranenburg en Kleef liggen zijn niet van beste kwaliteit en meestal onverhard. Dat betekent veel gaten in toegangswegen. Voor Hirschphul gold dat ook maar afgelopen periode was de toegang tot deze parkeerplaats een tijdje afgesloten en zijn er wat verbeteringen doorgevoerd. Het gebied maakt heerlijke wandelingen mogelijk, ook voor minder valide mensen biedt het bos voldoende verharde paden. Vanaf de parkeerplaats links de bossen in kan men dat vinden dat ik de Stenenstad noem maar door een journaliste de naam Steinmännchen heeft meegekregen en dat is in de volksmond blijven hangen. Als de schaapjes buiten lopen is dat het eerste dat je tegenkomt, lopende vanaf de parkeerplaats. De weg naar rechts gaat min of meer richting uitzichtpunt. In dat deel van de bossen bevindt zich een kloof waar de wortels van bomen deels vrijliggen. Een mooi gezicht. Voor mindervalide mensen zijn er meerdere paden goed begaanbaar. Er zijn geen restaurants of toiletgelegenheden. The parking spaces that lie so roughly between Kranenburg and Kleef are not of the best quality and usually unpaved. That means a lot of holes in access roads. This also applied to Hirschphul, but recently access to this parking lot was closed for a while and some improvements have been made. The area makes wonderful walks possible, even for disabled people the forest offers sufficient paved paths. From the parking lot to the left into the woods, one can find that I call the Stone City but was given the name Steinmännchen by a journalist and that has stuck in popular speech. When the sheep are outside, that is the first thing you encounter, walking from the parking lot. The road to the right more or less goes towards the viewpoint. In that part of the forests is a gorge where the roots of trees are partly exposed. A beautiful sight. There are several paths that are suitable for disabled people. Tot op de dag van vandaag, weet ik eigenlijk nog steeds niet of dat ooit is gebeurd. Wel vaker overkomt het mij dat ik van de ene in de andere tijd stap. Schade, schande, pijn, verdriet, angst, onrust, heeft mij dat nooit gebracht, eerder mooie onverwachte gedachten spannende avonturen onvoorziene ontmoetingen en ontdekkingen van velerlei aard. Helaas stapte ik gister nog via een willekeurig pad een wereld in die ik meende al eeuwen achter me te hebben gelaten. De wereld van horror geweld vernietiging pijn ellende. Ik had er niet meer op gerekend. Opnieuw zijn de Barbaren opgestaan, eigenlijk zijn ze nooit verdwenen. Ik loop voorzichtig verder over het pad in het bos.
