★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heerlijk bos om activiteiten te doen. Of je nu wilt mtb-en of wandelen of met je paard een rit wil maken, dat kan er allemaal. Zomers staat er soms wel eens een snack-kar, maar meestal niet. Dat is soms wel jammer. Een toilet zou ook een goede toevoeging zijn.
Lovely forest to do activities. Whether you want to mtb or hike or go for a ride with your horse, it is all possible. In the summer there is sometimes a snack cart, but usually not. That is a shame sometimes. A toilet would also be a good addition.

Prachtig bos met herten, vossen enz.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leuke route door het bos. Vooral met de hond al mag die niet overal komen in dit bos. Maar kort rondje van net geen 3km is prima te doen.
Nice route through the forest. Especially with the dog, although he is not allowed to go everywhere in this forest. But a short round of just under 3 km is fine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Op de eerste dag van 2022 is er niets Nederlandser dan de natuur in te trekken. Daarom naar het Dijkgatbos in de Wieringermeer gereden om een lekker stuk te wandelen in een mooi natuurgebied. Ondanks dat het wat drassig was is het een natuurgebied met verschillende te ontdekken dieren zoals reeën, vossen en verschillende vogels. Zo hebben wij vandaag spechten en een buizerd gezien en heel veel ganzen. Er waren meer mensen die deze plek bezochten maar heel druk was het niet. Ook dit is een mooi stuk natuur dat aan te raden is om te bezoeken.
On the first day of 2022, there is nothing more Dutch than going out into nature. That is why we drove to the Dijkgatbos in the Wieringermeer for a nice walk in a beautiful nature reserve. Despite the fact that it was a bit swampy, it is a nature reserve with various animals to discover such as deer, foxes and various birds. Today we saw woodpeckers and a buzzard and a lot of geese. There were more people visiting this place but it was not very busy. This is also a beautiful piece of nature that is recommended to visit.
