★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am an Indonesian and I just tried this last night, it is delicious! The flavour is the 'correct' flavour as usually Indonesian dish here in Europe is 'altered' to the western tounge. This one is a real deal!
We had take aways (pity that there are only 2 benches available) and food is wrapped just the way an Indonesian warung always does!
Menu was rice with 2 choice of meat and 2 choice of veggies or rice with 4 choice of veggies. We chose the meat option: Rendang, Babi Ketjap, Sayur Buntjis, Tempeh, and Sambal teri (anchovies) and they are out of thia world haha. My friend said the same too, and he loves the Sayur Nangka (Curried Jackfruit).
Totally recommend this one!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice located take away with 2 tables to eat out on the sidewalk. Friendly guy gave us 3 times dirty cutlery on top of dirty placemets after my wife was able to use the washroom we should have definitely left but we kind of got stuck which leaves a bitter aftertaste. Taste was okay not great- should have left when we could. Hygiene no star. 1 because there was food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small eatery in a hidden away street serving Indonesian food. The also have vegefarian options. The food is fresh and very tasty. The very friendly owner and chef told us that he prepares the dishes late morning early afternoon. He shared the making of some dishes with us including about the libelous efforts to make layer by layer the typical indonesian dessert cake that he sells. He also sells a nice ginger based drink. The sitting area is simple but clean. We enjoyed our meal here and recommend this place.

Warung Senang has the best vegan choices! We choose the non vegan one.
Plate nr. 1: Rendang Daging, Ajam Boemboe Bali (beef & chicken) Sajoer Boontjes, Sambal Goreng Tempeh ( string beans & tempeh)
Plate nr. 2: Basically the same but she had the Terong Blado instead of the string beans
The homemade hot sauce ( family recipe) was like the cherry on the pie and made the plate complete.
We absolutely recommend the place!
