β β β β β Op zich vind ik het nog steeds een fijne plaats op de was te doen, maar de laatste weken hangt er steeds een groepje van 4 tot 5 junks binnen die behoorlijk opdringerig is. Ben daardoor al een enkele keer naar de witwasserij ergens anders in de stad gegaan. Wel iets duurder, maar ik voel me er wel veiliger.
Jammer.
I still think it's a nice place to do the laundry, but the last few weeks there has always been a group of 4 to 5 junkies that is quite pushy. As a result, I have already gone to the money laundering elsewhere in the city a few times. A little more expensive, but I do feel safer.

β β β β β The main point of this review is how wonderful my experience was at Wasknijper in Nijmegen. I had 2 friendly local people assist me through the process, but it is reasonable, fast, and simple once you get through it. I am from out of town, but buying and using the detergent and using the washer and dryer was really well done. I put some tips below. The place is convenient and clean.
Washing Tips -
1) Don't be cheap and try to overload the washer. Buy the products you want for pre and during the wash and a fabric softener if that is your thing. Paying for the washer starts the washer. There is a bell that goes off when the washer is done.
2) You pay for 6 minute increments with the dryer. I had some heavy items in my wash, so I went with 30 minutes, but 24 or 18 would have worked. You have to press the start button on the dryer to start the process. There is a bell that goes off when the dryer is done.
Paying
1) Euros are needed, no credit cards; There is an ATM up the road away from the train station.

β β β β β Excellent, clean launderette with reasonable wash prices and free WiFi. You can buy a single portion of washing powder/softener per load for β¬0.60 and the washers are fast. The dryers cost β¬0.80 for 6 minutes, and for a small load they'll be done in about 20 minutes. Plenty of space to fold your clean laundry. Make sure to bring change or β¬5, β¬10 or β¬20 bills.
