★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Door de aansluiting van het kanaal Wessem Nederweert ontstond tussen de huidige Sluis 15 en Sluis 13 een hoogteverschil van 4,90 meter. Rijkswaterstaat besloot in 1923 een waterkracht centrale te bouwen. Deze centrale voorzag Sluis 15 met dienstwoning en Sluis Hulsen van Elektriciteit. Tot 1958 is de centrale in dienst geweest. In de jaren 90 werd de centrale weer opgeknapt en functioneerd weer.
 The connection of the Wessem Nederweert canal created a height difference of 4.90 meters between the current Sluis 15 and Sluis 13. Rijkswaterstaat decided in 1923 to build a hydroelectric power station. This plant provided Sluis 15 with a service home and Sluis Hulsen with electricity. The plant was employed until 1958. In the 90s, the plant was refurbished and functioned again.
