Gleich am Weberbrunnen steht ein Baum, in den am 11. August 2020 einer von 59 Klimaschutzengeln gehängt wurde. Es sei eine Mahnung an das Pariser Klimaabkommen und jeder Schutzengel symbolisiere das Umweltgewissen eines der 59 Kreistagsabgeordneten - so berichtet die Reinische Post am 13.08.2020. Leider ist dieser Engel entflogen. Die Urheber, die ParentsForFuture hoffen, dass er ein würdiges Zuhause gefunden hat. Auf dem Foto ist er noch in ganzer Pracht zu sehen.

There is a tree right by the Weber fountain, in which one of 59 climate protection angels was hung on August 11, 2020. It is a reminder to the Paris climate agreement and each guardian angel symbolizes the environmental conscience of one of the 59 district council members - so the Reinische Post reported on August 13, 2020. Unfortunately this angel has escaped. The creators who ParentsForFuture hope that it has found a worthy home. In the photo he can still be seen in all its glory.

Schade, dass der KlimaSchutzEngel nicht mehr hängt. Ich finde, er hat sich dort gut gemacht, um auf die Klimakatastrophe aufmerksam zu machen. Warum hängt man so ein Kunstobjekt ab? Weil man das Thema nicht mag, weil man ihn selbst nutzen möchte oder weil er vielleicht für geschäftsschädigend gehalten wird?
