Being raised as a third culture individual, studying at Webster University made the transition to student life easier due to the international atmosphere. In my opinion, the overall experience and interaction with professors and administration were on a more personal level due to the small student population and small class sizes. However, sometimes there was a lack of a traditional college campus atmosphere (ex. no dining hall/small library/lack of sporting events/no actual "campus" - only one building for classes and no actual grounds). If being able to interact during classes and having close relationships with professors/students is important to you, then Webster is the right choice. If you need a traditional college campus atmosphere with all the trimmings, I would say apply somewhere else. All in all the experience was positive in many aspects. Thanks to all the professors and advisors (you know who you are) who helped me along the way!

Webster Leiden was a once in a lifetime experience. The international atmosphere of the students brought such light to how diversity can make all the difference in opening ones' mind and views on the rest of the world. The memories I've made at this school are ones I will forever cherish and the friends are ones who will stay forever close to my heart. Leiden is a small but beautiful city. It gives off that home away from home feeling that brings such warmth to the whole overall experience of living there. Check out the market; great food, super friendly people!

The professors, intimate classrooms, and extracurricular opportunities is where you reap the benefits from Webster University and can find your own style, personality, and entrepreneurial spirit. The professors are working professionals so you experience real life examples rather than learned academic that is giving out of the book examples that you can learn anywhere and are out of tune with the real world. The intimate classroom allows even the shyest person to explore their thoughts and voice their opinion. The study abroad experience is super convenient since in the end the courses and credits transfer easily between each location. I've met some of the brightest people at Webster and definitely made some great friends.

Webster puts a great effort into introducing new students to the university and it's facilities, other students, and the beautiful town it's situated in. It was really like being part of a community while being a Webster student. I have had some really nice teachers there who understood the field they were teaching us about. If you're looking for a small university with more personalized attention by teachers and staff, Webster University is the place.

If I could describe Webster University in one word, that would have to be: diversity. I encountered individuals from all walks of life, faculty and students alike, which has helped develop my interpersonal skills within multicultural environments. I liked the small classroom setting as it allowed me to interact with my fellow peers and professors on a deeper level. However, as an American University, I feel the programs are more internationally oriented and this may not be ideal if you are looking to work within a Dutch organization once graduated. Furthermore, The Leiden campus is what you would describe as a satellite campus so if you're looking for a real college experience, I would recommend attending their main establishment, in St. Louis, Missouri.

Webster University opened up so many opportunities for me... I really enjoyed my Leiden experience because I met lots of people that changed the course of my life. The campus is small but cosy. The town is beautiful and safe it almost feels like you are in a fairytale land. The Webster staff are incredibly helpful and they pour their time into enriching your experience especially Lisa Foss! (So make sure you get her as an advisor) The professors are fun and creative with their classes. The small number of students means you get a lot of one-on-one attention which allows you to learn faster. If you are looking for a great experience, than look no further Webster University in the Netherlands is for you!

I don’t know about Webster USA and other Webster campuses but with Webster Leiden I would not recommend to anyone. Just to cut things short it lacks an institutional and organizational setting of what a standard school is like . They are only interested in your tuition fees and nothing else !!

Nothing interesting except a few good professors. There is nothing like a real university experience. Most staff members don’t respond to emails . I have always felt it was a complete waste of time and tuition fees !! It will be better to attend the main campus ST Louis as Webster Leiden is not much recognized in the Netherlands. Moreover it’s more American oriented as it’s supposed to be but then it’s in the Netherlands and so it adds no value!! Lastly you need to understand most companies in the Netherlands won’t employ you with a Webster degree!!
