De Whisky- en Wijnhandel van Marcel en Jolanda Verhaar aan de Planetenbaan in Bilthoven heeft verbluffende verrassingen in petto.

Van buiten een strak omgebouwde varkensstal, van binnen een immens, tot aan de nok toe gevuld keldergewelf. Met daaronder, tussen duizenden flessen, een Schotse hemel op aarde, en wijnen uit alle windstreken. Hun liefde ligt bij Frankrijk en Italië, maar de andere landen mogen natuurlijk niet vergeten worden en zijn dan ook breed in de zaak vertegenwoordigd. Naast alle mooie whisky's en wijnen is er een brede keuze aan buitenlandse destillaten zoals Cognac, Grappa, Eau de vie en Likeuren. Vandaag de dag kunnen we niet meer zonder webshop, dus ook bij online bestellen wordt het de klant zo makkelijk mogelijk gemaakt.

Marcel and Jolanda Verhaar's exclusive whisky and wine shop, located on the Planetenbaan in Bilthoven, has some special surprises for its local and international clientele. What appears on the outside to be no more than a renovated pigsty is actually a grand cellar, filled to the brim with a wide ranging collection of whiskies and wines. Inside, among thousands of bottles, one can find a true Scottish heaven on earth.

Our shelves hold more than 1300 kinds of whisky. We specialize in Whiskey spelled with an e from America and Ireland, and whisky without an e from Scotland and Canada. By far the most, more than 1000 of them, come from Scottish distilleries. We have built up a reputation as one of the biggest whisky shops in The Netherlands, and we are honoured to be the first shop in the Netherlands ever to receive the Single Malt Whisky Award in 1999.
