★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wij hebben recent onze trouwringen laten ontwerpen en maken door Wijen Goudsmeden en zijn erg tevreden over deze juwelier. In ons eerste gesprek (gewoon binnenlopen was mogelijk) nam men uitgebreid de tijd voor ons om naar onze wensen te luisteren, na circa 3 uur praten en passen van verschillende ringen, hebben we tot een mooi klassiek (nieuw) ontwerp voor de ringen besloten. Het eindresultaat is fantastisch! Ons inziens kenmerkt deze juwelier zich als volgt: geduldig luisteren naar de klant en naar wat de klant wil, flexibel in het maken van afspraken, nemen voor de afspraken ruim de tijd, zeer servicegericht, altijd vriendelijk geholpen en goede kwaliteit van sieraden.
 We have recently had our wedding rings designed and made by Wijen Goudsmeden and are very satisfied with this jeweler. In our first conversation (just walking in was possible) they took extensive time for us to listen to our wishes, after about 3 hours of talking and fitting different rings, we decided on a beautiful classic (new) design for the rings. The end result is fantastic! In our opinion, this jeweler is characterized as follows: patiently listening to the customer and what the customer wants, flexible in making appointments, taking ample time for appointments, very service-oriented, always friendly help and good quality of jewelry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ben hier geweest met de vraag of mijn ringen groter gemaakt konden worden.
Er werd gezegd dat ring eerst schoongemaakt moest worden om te beoordelen, wat ik vrij apart vond.
Tot slot van ramp zat nadien de diamant ook nog eens los, héél erg vervelend omdat ik dit zelf voorheen nooit gezien of gemerkt heb.
Vervolgens werd mijn vinger opgemeten en werd een prijs indicatie gedaan.
Toen vielen we steil achterover!
1 ring kon niet aangepast worden en voor de andere kwam een offerte van bijna 1100eu!!
We zijn voor een 2e opinie naar een andere juwelier/goudsmit geweest omdat dit bijna duurder was dan de hele ring nieuw aanschaffen.
Hier heb ik de offerte zojuist van gekregen en ontzettend blij!!
Voor 250eu worden beide ringen gemaakt, de diamant vastgezet en gerodineerd!!
Waar zit het verschil, kunt mij niet vertellen dat er 800eu verschil moet zitten in dezelfde reparatie/ aanpassing!!
De ring hoefde ook geen 3 maten groter wat berekend was maar 1,5 dus vervolgens zouden ze nog eens véél te groot worden ook!
Al met al geen fijn gevoel en kom hier dan ook nóóit meer!!
Been here to ask if my rings could be made bigger.
It was said that the ring should be cleaned first to review, which I found quite unusual.
Finally, the diamond was also loose afterwards, very annoying because I have never seen or noticed this myself before.
Then my finger was measured and a price indication was given.
Then we fell backwards!
1 ring could not be adjusted and for the other an offer of almost 1100eu was received !!
We went to another jeweler / goldsmith for a second opinion because this was almost more expensive than buying the whole ring new.
I have just received the quotation from this and very happy !!
For 250eu both rings are made, the diamond is fixed and rhodium plated !!
Where is the difference, can't tell me that there must be 800eu difference in the same repair / adjustment !!
The ring did not have to be 3 sizes larger, which was calculated only 1.5, so they would then become much too big too!
All in all, not a nice feeling and never come here again !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Goed advies gekregen over mijn ketting die ik wilde laten maken, welke manieren er mogelijk waren + voor en nadelen. Ketting is helemaal tip top in orde nu weer. Daarnaast hele vriendelijke service!
Received good advice about my chain that I wanted to make, which ways were possible + advantages and disadvantages. Chain is completely in tip-top shape now. In addition, very friendly service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Me and my best friend were strolling around the town to find a jewelry shop to get a silver chain for her new pedant. We knew there is one in Bergstraat. As we approached the shop, the doors were closed. We saw people inside.. but decided it’s probably their lunch break (don’t forget it’s not high street, nor there are too many customers throughout the day lining at the door). We though, forget it, let’s go check it out elsewhere. Suddenly a man opened the door and asked rather coldly, if we wanted to get inside. We said, we’re looking for silver chain. .and came in. He showed us one first chain that he could find and after we explained that we are looking for something else, I cannot express how rude this man was. In a way, he was about to kick us out of the shop.. or at least this is exactly how it felt. Sarcastic and rude. I don’t even know what to add to this.. because only text will not suffice. I cannot translate his tone, nor his facial expression. But the only feeling we’ve got then was to get out of there. Unbelievably unfriendly, in a way, even humiliating service. For this class of the business this is unacceptable! I would never ever recommend this shop to anyone.
Luckily the sun was shining outside and our moods were recovered in no time. We found the silver chain in Bijenkorf, as well as friendly and nice service. So, at the end I am really glad Wijen Goudsmeden-Juweliers did not earn a 100 euros from us today, and definitely not in the future. Seems they don’t really need money. Nor customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last Thursday was by birthday and my best friend and me were strolling around town to find a jewelry shop. I was looking for a silver chain for my new pedant, which was my birthday gift. We knew there was one on Bergstraat. As we approached the shop the door was closed. We saw people inside but thought it might be their lunch break or a private meeting, as no one should any attempts to open the door. Therefore we decided to continue looking for another jewelry shop. As we were just to turn around they opened the door for us. We explained what we were looking for. The salesperson immediately showed us the first chain he could find; a thick silver chain. We tried to explain a bit more in detail what we were looking for; a long thin silver chain. The salesperson showed no signs to help us find what we were looking for. He didn’t spend one second trying to understand our wishes. After all, that’s what salespeople are for. Offering good service to their customers and making sure you have satisfied customers. It might be that Wijen Goudsmeden-Juweliers was no match for our current needs. But there are so many different ways to tell this to your customer. The salesperson met us with ignorance, coldness, and gave us the feeling he wanted us to leave the shop. Which we happily did. Wijen Goudsmeden-Juweliers provided nothing but humiliating service. Next time we are looking for new jewelry we will for sure not come back. I wouldn’t recommend this shop to anyone who cares about service. Luckily we found what we were looking for in another shop in Eindhoven, which gave us friendly service.

The experience was great - the ladies in the shop were very friendly, helped us really well, and made us feel really welcome, making a whole experience out of just choosing rings. We got custom made rings with an engraving of our names in them. The rings feel very comfortable and they are beautiful. We are very happy that we got our rings at this place and we would definitely come back for other jewellery pieces.
