Winerestaurant Mes Amis is specialised in wine and food combinations. The wine is not just an important part of the meal, it is in important inspiration for our kitchen crew. We select the wines of the season after which our kitchen crew create the matching dishes. Every day we serve fresh fish, meat and seasonal foods from the region. We have a nice selection of meals for vegans as well. You can choose for a 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 of 9 course menu, and of course we will take into account your wishes. You can also order dishes Γ la carte. After the aperitif we serve a matching selection of wines. We are proud of the quality of Limburgian wines from the Dutch and Belgian part of Limburg. As a restaurant we assume you have time to enjoy an evening with great food, wines and a nice atmosphere. If you have a time limit we'll take that into account if you ask us. Mes Amis was awarded as the most hospitable restaurant from Maastricht.

β β β β β Great staff, very friendly and they know their local wines. The wines are also ok, they are not top notch globally, but the best you can get in Netherlands. Wine servings are ok, but they won't top up if you finish early. Food is very average. They put too much different flavours on one plate and serve so much you miss all finesse. Maybe my expectations were wrong: I expected fine dining, but got a farmers dinner presented nicely. So all in all; not bad, but not refined. If you want to try Dutch wines and a lot of local food go there, for fine dining go elsewhere.

β β β β β Some higher prices but a vast choice of wines and good food. The staff is friendly and know their stuff. The food is presented in some experimental ways which wasn't really my thing but it tasted pretty good so i'm fine with it. Portions are quite small as expected.
One "negative" point was that a vegetarian basically gets the same dishes, without the piece of meat, but still pays the same. I'd say the meat is the most expensive.

β β β β β We greatly enjoyed our meal here last night. We chose the surprise seven course meal with the wine pairing. Most, if not all, of the wines were from the local region including Limburg.
I was very pleased with the quality, presentation, service, and most of all the flavors of our food and wine.
This restaurant is definitely on the pricey side.
I look forward to eating here again.

β β β β β Unfortunate surprise. The food was nice and nicely presented, but they got an ESSENTIAL allergy restriction wrong. I was sick that night because of it, and this is HIGHLY unacceptable, especially for such a place. The prices shown on the menu are only relative to the courses but every extra is overpriced and the final bill was far above our expectations. The staff was poorly prepared on the service and very nervous. We will not be back.

β β β β β My partner and I recently ate at Mes Amis and the experience was divine. The young waitress of the mere age of 17 is a master at her craft. We did the prix-fixe menu with the wine pairing and we loved every single experience. It is a mother and son owned restaurant, and it is a small and cozy space. I highly recommend it and it is worth every cent!

β β β β β A week ago I was at your Mes amis restaurant. I did expect tasty food and good local wine selection . It turned out to be such a fantastic fine dining experience that I haven't dreamt of! Every dish was like a work of art and the taste was outstandingly good and flavoured. I couldnβt guess whether the wine or the food was honored to be paired with. Every little details was taken care of. Not only the ravishing service but the appropriate approach to every eating companion was so inviting. For me, Mes amis is a wine dining restaurant which none of its rivals can match. Definitely, itβs worth a return.
