About Winkelcentrum Gouweplein
Het Gouweplein is helemaal ingericht op ontmoeting. Voor een kopje koffie kun je in Cultuurhuys de Kroon terecht of op één van de twee buitenterrassen. En heb je bezoek, dan neem je hem of haar toch wel op vrijdag even mee naar de (wekelijkse) uitgebreide Gouwepleinmarkt? Dat wordt een opgewekte middag met al die kleurige kraampjes vol spijzen en leuke hebbedingetjes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ok shopping centre. Dominated by theassive underground parking. Did not live up to the dream they hoped it would be. But it has the useful stuff: grocery stores, Hema and C&a. I guess its nice for a vilage to have a shopping centre bit for real shopping you will probably still go to gouda or zoetermeer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The parking arrangements are very good. Plenty of room underground and free for the first two hours. The stores are pretty good and what you'd expect relative to the town size. There are some terraces around the square, and plenty of spots to put your bikes and such.
I've read some complaints about how windy it can get but compared to The Hague that doesn't even register for me as windy so if you're used to it you may not even notice.
The atmosphere is enjoyable and I'm overall satisfied with safety and reachability. The types and amount of stores and their options can feel limited at times, with a few being excellent. This will hopefully grow over time, but that does make this 4 stars instead of 5 for me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a nice place to shop. Not a huge shopping area for “a day of shopping” but they have most of the stuff you would need.
On Friday’s there’s a market and you can take a stroll around the pond and say hi to the birds in the birdcage.
