Shame that an empty shop is being used by a temporary shop. It makes the place seem very dirty.

Place needs to implement standards for the whole centre. At present times it seems this is done in writing only and no active measures are taken.

The Ruwert was the first time I went to a shopping mall here in the Netherlands. I was quite shocked at the way the shops were managed. A lot of it was open. In America there would be a lot of decorations, especially because Christmas is around the corner. Yet, there were almost no signs of decorations in the mall. I felt the need to ask someone how old this building was because it looked very outdated. I went to this supermarket with red and yellow colors. I spoke English to the personal in the supermarket because I never went to the Netherlands before and therefore I can not speak Dutch. I am here in Oss for family. I asked the young man where the cookies were, unfortunately he did not understand me and had to bring someone else who could speak English. I was disappointed by this since even though the Netherlands is not a country with English as it’s first/second language, I was told by my cousin that children get taught English from age 10. I, sure that this young man was no older than 19. The female who helped me was very friendly and I do appreciate the fact that they got someone to translate for me. I realized that I forgot my toothbrush so I also asked the woman if there was a shop where I could buy a new one. She answered with Krutvad, I enjoyed my experience in that shop more that in the supermarket

Just a visit to this centre. It keeps quiet a few chain stores internal, for the various chain stores in the country.
