★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am very disappointed in the treatment received by this company. They were the middlemen in our transatlantic move from the US to Spain. I was never notified that they had receive my belongings, which they said they would do before proceeding with the shipment to the final destination. When I inquired about my items after the expected arrival date, I was told they had them in holding and that before I could receive them I had to pay them directly an additional storage fee. So basically they had my things hostage until I paid them an unfair fee since they never notifying me that they had received my items. Once my things arrived I noticed 3 items where missing. They eventually found 2 of the items but never recovered a missing item, a custom bike wheel. Turns out the bike was also broken. So not only did I loose additional money but a unique bike, due to a missing wheel and damage to the gears. I spoke with them and the originating company about this to see how they planned on resolving this, and after several emails back and forth I never heard back from them again and they did nothing to make up for this. Ontop of this I was charged an unexpected 125 customs xray fee... Needless to say I do not recommend them or any company that chooses to use them as intermediaries. (If you are able to see my review history you can see I usually only leave positive reviews, a takes a lot for me to leave a negative review, I believe this may be my first, so you can trust my review is accurate).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst Shipment Company Ever, Please believe me and all the other reviews and do yourself a favour and don't book with them! It has been almost 4 months and World Freight still has not delivered our possessions to Berlin (moved from New York City to Berlin). Instead, they have been holding our possessions while charging hidden fee after fee. 600 euros for port fees, X-ray fees, a 150 euro fee with no explanation whatsoever. Most recently it was demurrage. And we have paid it all. Overall, we have paid over 1000 euros of extra fees, but we have seen no results. World Freight has vaguely told us that they have our goods in their possession, but they will not give us a time when they might deliver them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Also I did not chose this company, they were contracted by my overseas shipping company. As I now saw in many other posts, they did the same with me and charge an extra fee to deliver to 3rd floor instead of 2nd floor even though there is an elevator. Crazy ... just to press a different button. Prepay, Otherwise they won't deliver at all... their words.
When I asked about seeing their T&Cs to show me this 3rd floor rule they refused to do that as well.
Stay away from this company is my advice!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ours turned extremely horrible in the end. Communication was a big problem! We shipped from Switzerland to Ghana in April
2021. Our items arrived with so much stuff broken, including glassware, tables and bookshelves due to poor packaging and handling. One tall shelf was broken into two parts ? If you value you property, stay away from them, very wreckless!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The company has a modus operandi of holding your goods and then claiming demurrage fees to release; much in similar pattern to what you can see in other legitimate reviews. The 5 star reviews look like they're written on behalf of the company, quite fake and quite obvious.
Communication is engineered to be ambiguous. What is clear, if the only thing, is that if you don't pay the demurrage fees, further delays and charges will come your way. Without offering any detail or evidence (on repeated request) as to why extra fees are payable, this leaves me little choice but to take the legal route to recover the funds extorted. They'll simply refer you to your originating shipping company, in my case, South African relocations in Cape town - clearly complicit and have completely ignored (including their CEO Kyle), to offer any assistance.
The best advice you'll get for free is to use a reputable shipping line and avoid these crooks.
Hopefully this will help others and put a stop to their deplorable tactics.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We worked with World Freight Relocations for the European portion of our move from New York to France. The team was professional, efficient, and responsive to all of our concerns. There was, however, one issue of a sudden 600 euro fee for "storing" our shipment, which we never got much proof of since we didn't ask for it to be stored. Everything these days seems to be blamed on Brexit and COVID, so it's hard to determine the truth but needless to say we were not pleased because the shipment was already quite expensive. I see that other customers had the same problem of hidden fees, so that's given me some pause while writing this review....
We did, however, receive all of our belongings in the exact condition they were shipped out in and the team that came was efficient and professional.

They took everything through customs, kept me informed, and their delivery to the South of France was perfect...and a very nice crew that delivered. Loaded everything in my storage and took away all the wrappings and boxes. Excellent service.
