★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Onze vader verbleef twee jaar in Oud Clingendael en, helaas is ons eindoordeel niet positief.
Door gevorderde Alzheimer bestond zijn wereld uit kleine zaken: dagelijkse verzorging , vegetarisch eten, chocomel i.p.v. aanmaaklimonade en klassieke muziek.
Deze bleken vaak niet- of onvoldoende mogelijk.
Oud Clingendael heeft veel hardwerkende hulpen die liefdevolle aandacht geven. Maar er is ook het beleid van de directie met daaruit voortvloeiende wantoestanden.
Onze ervaring: Bij ieder incident, gemeld aan de directie, werd tegengas gegeven. De fout lag of bij het personeel, of bij de familie, of bij de cliënt zelf. Dat varieerde van ontkenning en , als een familielid aanhield, tot zelfs een persoonlijke aanval.
Kritiek wordt niet geduld.
Eindoordeel: Het positieve beeld dat ons geschetst werd bij rondleiding en aanmelding is tegenstrijdig met de realiteit. Het hoeft geen betoog dat de verblijfskosten niet in balans zijn met de geboden diensten.

 Our father spent two years in Oud Clingendael and, unfortunately, our final verdict is not positive.
Due to advanced Alzheimer's, his world consisted of small things: daily care, vegetarian food, chocolate milk instead of production lemonade and classical music.
These often turned out to be impossible or insufficiently possible.
Oud Clingendael has many hardworking helpers who give loving attention. But there is also the policy of the management with resulting abuses.
Our experience: Every incident, reported to the management, was counteracted. The fault was either with the staff, or with the family, or with the client. This varied from denial and, if a family member persisted, to even a personal attack.
Criticism is not tolerated.
Final verdict: The positive image that we were given during a tour and registration is contradictory to reality. It goes without saying that accommodation costs are not in balance with the services offered.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastische luxe zorgvilla. Mijn vader heeft er een hele fijne tijd gehad. De verzorgers zijn heel vriendelijk beleefd en bekwaam. Er zijn dagelijks activiteiten voor de bewoners zoals samen koken, tuinieren, wandelen, varen, een museum bezoek etc. De villa heeft de uitstraling van een 5 sterren hotel. En dat is niet alleen te danken aan de inrichting en locatie. De service, verzorging, organisatie alles wordt op een zorgvuldige respectvolle en warme wijze uitgevoerd. Indien er het er de situatie naar is zou ik het iedereen aanraden hier te verblijven.
Fantastic luxury care villa. My father had a great time there. The caretakers are very friendly polite and competent. There are daily activities for the residents such as cooking together, gardening, walking, boating, visiting a museum, etc. The villa has the appearance of a 5 star hotel. And that is not only due to the design and location. The service, care, organization everything is carried out in a careful respectful and warm manner. If there is a situation, I would recommend everyone to stay here.
