Had a delicious dinner, food was wonderful and friendly people.

Good food, and fantastically jovial staff. We've been here a couple of times, and it's been a delight.

Food quality is excellent yet we've been sitting here for nearly 2 hours waiting for food with two young children. They are busy but definitely not up to standards if they can't get their food out...

Egg sandwich....it was delicious...we are from California, went to visit family in 2019...we ate there whenever we could...yummy. nice people own it too..

Charming and cozy spot with lovely quiet ambiance, and the possibility of eating on the street beside the canal when it’s warm. Varied menu selections, including a very reasonable multi-course offering. Entrecôte came nicely rare with lots of vegetables and salad as well as mashed and French fried potatoes. Perfect with a glass of house Merlot. Sorbet with fresh fruit and generous dollop of fresh whipped cream for dessert was light and refreshing. Very friendly and helpful staff, with perfect English (en Nederlands).

Let me tell you a story about someone (me) ordering a dish, realizing he doesn't like it... The food was good, but it was just not my taste, so nothing the chef or anybody else screwed up. I ordered something I thought I'd like, but I didn't. I ate, what I didn't completely dislike, mostly the rice, left over the veggies I didn't like, because I was just hungry... during eating the waiter came to ask if we like our food, and I honestly said, that I didn't like it. He looked shocked and asks why, when I realize, that it was probably more meant like, if the food and everything is okay in general. So I let him know that there is nothing wrong with the food itself, but it's me and my taste. He offers to bring me another dish, but since I already ate half of it and figured, it's my own bad, I thanked him but rejected. When I was done, the owner (I guess it's been the owner) came to me and asked me, what I didn't like. I stressed once more, that the food was for sure okay, and it's been because of my taste, not because of their food, and explained which veggies I didn't like and what I was missing, and what was not like I expected. He asked me if I'm still hungry, if he can bring me anything else, which I refuse, since I'm okay with the rice and the veggies I ate (although not liking it...). He says ok and leaves. I go outside for a quick smoke, when I get back, the owner brings me a plate with the stuff I said I was expecting and what I was looking for... I was impressed. This is more customer service than one could ask for! Thank you guys so much. The waiter was very friendly, quick and kind as well, all other 3 people in my company enjoyed their food. Great place! Loved it.

Great hamburger with lovely taste. Service was very nice with focus on the customer.

Great service and great food! We had some 'exotic' allergies and diets in our group but the chef (and the rest of the staff) handled this great and still delivered delicious dishes. However, I found the house wine to be a bit underwhelming. At the end of the evening we chatted with the staff outside for a bit and even got some recipe's of the dishes we loved the most ;)
