De slaapkamers zijn lekker ruim en de bedden liggen heerlijk. De badkamer is ook prima. Het toilet was voor mij veel te hoog (haha). Buiten was het, in ons geval, een natte, ongezellige boel. Tv kregen we niet aan de praat en de WiFi was ook slecht, dus TV kijken op mijn tablet via de WiFi ging ook niet. Mijn eigen hotspot werkte meestal wel, maar ook 3G/4G heeft daar slecht bereik. Normaal ook geen probleem, als het mooi weer is, dan heb je wel wat anders te doen. Maar toen wij er waren regende het meestal, dus dan is er verder niks te doen. In De Koog is er in november ook niet veel meer te beleven. Strandpaviljoen Paal 21 is doordeweeks dicht. The cottage "Stormvogel" is cozy and cozy. You get a bit of a locked-in feeling through the high windows. The bedrooms are nice and spacious and the beds are wonderful. The bathroom is also great. The toilet was much too high for me (haha). Outside, in our case, it was a wet, uncomfortable place. We didn't get TV and the WiFi was also bad, so watching TV on my tablet via the WiFi wasn't possible either. My own hotspot usually worked, but 3G / 4G also has poor coverage there. Normally not a problem, if the weather is nice, then you have something else to do. But when we were there it usually rained, so there is nothing else to do. In De Koog there is not much to do in November either. Beach pavilion Paal 21 is closed during the week.
C	C Klein on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Twee prima overnachting gehad in de Stern. Heerlijke bedden! En ook zo lekker stil :-) Top ontbijt, genoeg voor het maken van een lunch voor onderweg. We vonden wel een paar verbeter punten zoals de trap, die zouden jullie van stootborden kunnen voorzien zodat het kraken ophoud. En de voordeur verdiend aandacht. Had two fine overnight stays in the Stern. Comfortable beds! And also so nice and quiet :-) Top breakfast, enough for a lunch on the go. We did find a few improvements, such as the stairs, which could provide you with risers so that the creaking stops. And the front door deserves attention.
i	ieke vd huijzen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super ligging en mooi beschut - flesje appelsap staat klaar. Bedden zijn uitstekend. Maar sinds de nieuwe eigenaren het beheer hebben, kan ik helaas ook enige verbeterpunten melden m.b.t. de schoonmaak en gedateerde meubelen. Het appartment heet 'De Stormvogel' maar binnen is er totaal geen connectie met zee, strand, natuur en/of Texel. Nu is dat geen must. Maar het geeft niet echt een vakantiegevoel voor wat dat ook is. Het is vooral bruin, jaren 80, maar daar moet je van houden. Super location and nicely sheltered - bottle of apple juice is ready. Beds are excellent. But since the new owners have taken over, I can unfortunately also report some points for improvement with regard to the cleaning and dated furniture. The apartment is called 'De Stormvogel' but inside there is absolutely no connection with the sea, beach, nature and/or Texel. Now that is not a must. But it doesn't really give a holiday feeling for whatever that is. It is mainly brown, 80s, but you have to love that.
