★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Het Absbroekbos is een bosgebied van circa 70 hectare ten westen van Munstergeleen (gemeente Sittard-Geleen) in het zuiden van de Nederlandse provincie Limburg. Het is een jong gemengd loofbos, dat aangeplant is in het begin van de 21e eeuw op voormalige landbouwgronden in het dal van de Geleenbeek. Het is opgenomen als onderdeel van het natuurgebied het Geleenbeekdal en wordt beheerd door de Vereniging Natuurmonumenten.

The Absbroekbos is a wooded area of approximately 70 hectares west of Munstergeleen (municipality of Sittard-Geleen) in the south of the Dutch province of Limburg. It is a young mixed deciduous forest, which was planted at the beginning of the 21st century on former agricultural land in the valley of the Geleenbeek. It is included as part of the Geleenbeekdal nature reserve and is managed by the Vereniging Natuurmonumenten.
