About Airbornemuseum Hartenstein

Nicely presented museum with objects recovered from the battle, well labeled, and extensive audio tour. The airborne experience is a highlight - made me jump more than once.

We give our visit 24-02 an overall experience four stars ⭐️. There were a few glitches in the continuity of sound with the devices provided. We just had a really great time, learning so much of the history of the Bridge. In spite of the failure of the project, this was not held against us by the Dutch, who appreciated that the British forces tried their best. The Dutch also rescued 120 members of the British forces in 1944 (I think) getting them to safety via the underground movement. The warm welcome of the reception team plus that of Martis in the coffee shop, added to the enjoyment of the day. Thank you all so much. I shall return!

A very interesting museum and the building was the original headquarters of the allies. Great reenactment of the Market Garden landings. Allies 2ar cemetery is nearby. Highly recommended!

Very impressive museum about operation Market Garden with a lot of personal stories from the People who participated in it. The museum building was the allied headquarters in those days. The experiance is an absolute must. You board a glider and when it has "landed" you are in the Middleton of the battle.

I didnt really like this museum that much until i entered the airborne experience. I think they should re do the 1st floor to make it more educational and fun at the same time. It is quite small and a little boring.

This museum is a must if you are ever in the area. The artifacts they have inside are amazing with lots of history. There is also a good interactive zone in the basement. There are also some items outside. There is a walk you can do around grounds but I didn't have time as I was only passing through. €15 entry but service personnel do get a discounted entry.
