Die Angestellten sind freundlich und rufen schnell an, wenn ein Buch angekommen ist. Alles sehr empfehlenswert! Very competent advice on books. Very fast with orders, even if the books are only available in antiquarian fashion. The staff are friendly and quick to call when a book has arrived. All very recommendable!

Die Atmosphäre ist ruhig und man kann Ideen für Geschenke sammeln, ob zur Taufe, zur Kommunion oder zur Hochzeit. Hier kann man fündig werden. Just great. Great selection of church gifts, candles, books and little things. We were looking for a christening candle and had a large selection. The atmosphere is calm and you can collect ideas for gifts, whether for baptism, communion or wedding. You can find it here.

Wenn auch der Lage geschuldet die Sortierung zunehmend rk wird( so findet man liturgische Hilfen zu Trauungen unter "Sakramenten"), besteht das erfahrene Team um Sabine Buchholz, die das Geschäft in zweiter Generation führt, aus jederzeit am Kunden orientierten Ansprechpartnerinnen, die zu theologischer, aber auch zu Reiseliteratur, Krimis und allen anderen Fragen rund ums Buch unaufdringlich beraten. Schon so manches Buch hätte sonst nicht den Weg auf den Nachttisch gefunden. Jedes irgendwo lieferbare Werk wird üblicherweise binnen Tagesfrist besorgt,bei exotischen Büchern ( zum Beispiel zu Samuraischwertern) kann es auch mal ein paar Tage dauern. Unbedingt hingehen und nicht bei Amazon bestellen. My favorite bookstore for decades. And also beautiful calendars for the Word of God to be read anew every day. With friendly and competent advice and service.

Es gab aber sofort eine Alternative. Friendly and well sorted. They could have got me a book by tomorrow. Unfortunately, I'm not from Essen and so it was of no use to me. But there was immediately an alternative.
