absolutely shocking customer service. have been customer >5 years and never had an issue. however, recently it became impossible to get hold of the customer service. also no contact email mentioned anywhere so the only option is to wait (pointless) hours until someone picks up...

Absolutely terrible customer service availability. Even more shocking to find out that, once you get them on the line, the actual customer service has also deteriorated. I have therefore cancelled my cards as per immediately. A real shame, as I actually wanted to upgrade to a platinum card.

The worse customer service where customers are being put on hold for 60 minutes, when you finally have someone they hang up before you can say anything and they never call back. Now my wife card has been blocked and since the activation mail is not correct there is no way to reactivate. Very bad!!

Awful customer service. They will go out of their way to make your life difficult. No discernible benefit to using Amex. Slow, nonresponsive, and moncommon sense. Go for visa or MasterCard and thank me later

AMEX Nederland leadership, if you ever look at those reviews. Seriously, sort your things out. Utterly disgraceful waiting time. I can't even blame the poor customer service reps that are just doing their best. Being told the exact same thing 6 times over 5 months that there is a known technical issue (being currently worked on) not allowing miles to be transferred to Flying Blue customers account is just unacceptable. No resolution timeline + rejecting the faults on Flying Blue + taking your customer in hostage. Then just stop marketing AMEX Flying Blue altogether, you're ok with taking our cash for the CC, but not ok to resolve the issues swiftly.

Atrocious. They are behind every other card company, still living in the dark ages. Awful customer service, outdated systems. Can't even do the basics right. Zero correspondence between digital, offline and customer service. Surprising that they stick with their card offering in NL. They should really just give up and exit the market. Will never use their card again. Bye

AMEX was known as a premium card, justifying the high amount they were charging to retailers for transactions. Reality is completely different. Probably my worse customer experience ever. They cancelled my card after asking several times to upload my ID for reconfirmation. The online process does not work properly. No customer service.... no email..... Nobody on the phone to answer your call. How can this be possible? How can KLM accept to partner with this company? AMEX should rather stop working in the NL.... completely useless
