★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overpriced hotel that is outdated and just offers the basics, fine for a night or so. It overlooks the train station on the side we stayed, room 320. There is no free bottled water offered in the room, TV in the room is just placed on the table. We woke up in the morning with no electricity :(

visitors,but some of the rooms are a little
bit small having a panoramic view over the
central station of Maastricht.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extraordinary location opposite the station, and close to everything you want to see in Maastrich; price/room too high compared to what is expected of the room, simply old, in my preference, there could be more light in the bathroom, pleasant personal attention, generous breakfast. I must add that we had a 'lunch' in the restaurant and, I must give my compliments to the chef for the 'mossel soup' he served, the bread was warm, with added butter, and the presentation of the dish extraordinary. My tip to the hotel, modernise the rooms and with great pleasure you can pay the prices you charge.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was one of the worst stays and i would really not recommend it to anyone - the rooms were not clean at all and we had to change three times (smoke in one, toilets completely dirty in the other). The service was really bad as well - We specifically asked for a double bed but found ourselves with two mattresses which were not comfortable at all.
I spoke to the manager afterwards also via phone but there was no proposal such as refunding the nights or offering a voucher - which is a no-brainer.
Even if the location is good (if you arrive by train) I would walk 5 minutes more to look for a comfy stay in Masstricht.

What I liked: the location very central near the railstation, the room was nice, the breakfast very good and diverse, they have also a swimming pool.
To be improved: the temperature in the room couldn't be changed (it was cold) and although I had the heating turned on it didn't work. The bathroom needed a renovation.
