★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Has worsened over time, with the removal of the smoking area and the removal of most ATMs while the airport maps have not been updated to reflect the changes. I don't see anything new to replace the stuff being removed. With the size of the airport finding a staff or information desk who can help is not always possible, luckily most flight crew a savvy and willing to help you.
Disappointing to fly through schiphol when it is regarded so highly.
P.s. Mcdonalds there is poor, staff were not serving customers at the desk and two people walked away infant of me, the server was indifferent. Got my order wrong and tried to overcharge me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's so crazy. Half of stores are closed. The rest stores have outrageous prices. 3€ ($3.30) for 0.5 L of water (16.9 ounces). Water fountains do not work!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All water fountains switched off. Bottles of water cost €4.50. Constant stream of people looking to fill their bottles. Disgraceful behaviour by the airport denying its users their basic right to clean water.

Bagage handling is horrific. Takes ages to arrive and ‘odd size’ which gets off the plane first is delivered on the belt last. They say its due to low staff; well fix that then. Boarding: no mentioning of seat numbers, just everyone at once, chaos as one staff needs to check everything :/
I hope someone takes charge and fixes it for the better to restore old glory

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst airport I’ve been to in Europe. Avoid if at all possible. Between a third and half of the escalators are closed at any given time. 40 minute security line then 50 minute passport check line. Over a hundred people in line with one passport checker. Everything is laid out in curves to make it pretty but it makes security confusing and slow.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not sure why this new entry is here for Schiphol but I’ll be the first to review. It’s the best airport in Europe. Easy to get to from anywhere in the Netherlands.
The arrivals are easy. International departures are fun. Get there early so you can do some shopping and food.
