Amsterdam Circle Line - Prinsengracht 263
Amsterdam Circle Line is het zusterbedrijf van Smidtje Luxury Cruises. Smidtje richt zich op het organiseren van bedrijfs- en privé evenementen, dé plek voor Amsterdamse gastvrijheid. Opgericht in 2001 door Tomas de Smidt, vanaf de woonboot van zijn moeder. Deze woonboot, bekend als ”de Bloemenboot”, die werd gebruikt als bloemenzaak. Zijn broer timmerde een mini kantoor op het buitendek van de bloemenzaak van zijn moeder.
Ondertussen kocht Tomas zijn eerste boot, genaamd ‘t Smidtje, ét voila: Smidtje Luxury Cruises was geboren. Overdag beheerde hij de boekingen en ‘s avonds nam hij plaats in de kapiteinsstoel. Uiteindelijk heeft zijn harde werk vruchten afgeworpen, want het bedrijf floreerde al snel.

We learned a lot about the history of the city and really enjoyed how relaxing it was. Definitely would recommend doing this if you are spending any time in Amsterdam!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was really a lovely ride and I truly recommend it. The boat sailed smoothly on all the most famous places of the Amsterdam canal, and had some fun 'dud you knows' added in. There is plenty of room to sit by, and the seats were quite comfortable for the 1.5h ride. The boat guide offered explanations in 3 languages (Dutch, English and Italian), and had access to a toilet!
A must if in Amsterdam!
