Whenever I have come here I have always been served quickly and without any problems. I have been here 5 times without a problem. 4/4 would gemeente here again

Today I spent almost 2 hours in line in Gementee for making request for parking place Rough lady said me that it's impossible because my vehicle now doesn't have dutch registration. I asked for manager but he also could not help me and said me to leave gementee. I came home and made online request for parking in 10 minutes. If I only could know this before and don't spend Friday's evening in this hell.

After moving to Amsterdam, the gemeente was very welcoming, professional. they helped us with our registration, there was only a little bit of confusion in the beginning, hence 4 stars instead of 5; but they solved it quickly, explained, apologised. We had our registered partnership there and the employees were amazing - the gentleman who booked it for us explained to us everything in detail and he was so friendly and nice, it felt that he is enjoying our plans with us. The lady who ordained us was incredible. So kind and wonderful, she really made it a special moment for us. I also very much appreciate all the ecological and community initiatives this gemeente organizes. When you go there, Ok, you need to wait a bit sometimes, please be prepared; but it is never exceedingly long. And the service we have experienced was always professional and friendly.

Bike were parked according to all the rules at the cycle racks with heavy professional lock just next to my appartment. I found it in Fietsdepo 1.20 hours away from my place. On a picture it was standing alone at the street (not in racks and no lock on it). With a sticker that it was parked too long (no sticker on my bike 1 day before). I don't understand the point of bycicle racks then, if gementee just can come and take my bike away. Making me pay a fee for nothing. I don't think it is a good service and if the bike was taken away illigally it should be returned back for free. Highly disappointed with gementee service. Specially in corona times, when the government asks us to stay home.
