About Animal Hotel Marijke
De passie en liefde voor dieren hebben wij dus met de paplepel ingegoten gekregen, waarvoor wij onze ouders zeer dankbaar zijn. Wij zijn dan ook heel blij en trots dat wij, Dennis en Eli, het stokje van onze ouders mochten overnemen. Nadat ook wij al de benodigde diploma’s hadden behaald zetten wij Dierenhotel Marijke vol enthousiasme en liefde voort! Wij vinden het belangrijk ons voortdurend te blijven ontwikkelen middels trainingen, opleidingen en qua aanbod en luxe voor de bij ons logerende gasten! Alleen het beste is goed genoeg! Wij zijn ontzettend trots op Dierenhotel Marijke, het mooiste en beste 5 sterren hotel resort van Nederland!
Wellicht overbodig maar ook van onze verzorgers verwachten wij naast de juiste opleiding bovenal dié 100% liefde, passie en optimale inzet voor dieren die wij van onze moeder hebben meegekregen!

When picking up my dog at the last visit I received a note that my dog was no longer welcome because he was not nice to other dogs when they let them out. Poor conduct of staff I would say. Hotel Marijke is good for cats and indoor dog.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have a 1 year old beagle, that is quite excited most times and full of energy. I was worried how she'd be taken care of as it'd be her first time for 3 weeks away from us but she was really happy when I picked her up and clearly well taken care of.
She lost a bit weight but I'd assume it's due to the daily activities they had. It'd be great to get more frequent updates about her as the policy is very tight but overall I'm very happy with the place and definitely will be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our dogs stay here only twice a year, and every time we bring them, the staff knows their names, behaviors, medicines, and which other dogs they best get along with off the top of their heads. When we pick them up, they give us a thorough update and it is clear that the person giving the update spent plenty of personal time with them. The dogs are grouped in packs and have plenty of access to the outdoors. The place is recently renovated and facilities are great. It's quite pricey but for us, with 2 chronically ill dogs, the peace of mind is worth the price tag.

After calling today we find they were not full, they are just very selective about what type of dogs they want - apparently our Male Boxer did not meet their exclusive selection criteria - how we we suspect the reason is we didn’t book any of their add on services. Imagine if a normal hotel operated like this?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointment for us. Our dog was once for the first time there. We paid even for his trial period with getting a promise that we will have a discount for the second time leave. When we made our second reservation, they told us that they promised us the discount if we leave our dog for a month not for 2 weeks. The reaction of the owner was very rude when I called him. He was not in a manner to help. He even said that it is our choice to bring our dog or not under these conditions.
How did they take care of our dog when they even can not keep their promises? Unfortunately, our dog was sick when we took him. We learned that he was having upper respiratory tract infection and eczema on his foot due to stress. He had to use for 2 weeks 3 different pills including an antibiotic and a lotion for his foot. Unfortunately, I even haven't received any sympathies about it from the owner. I am sorry but not trustful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dieren hotel Marijke took real good care of our pup Oreo while we were on a vacation for 4 weeks! They were very communicative during the entire stay, promptly sharing pictures whenever we asked. Would definitely leave our pup here again!
